    Hi!
    I bought your theme today because of the GDPR-Support, but I have some layout problems on http://www.journalisten-tools.de now:

    1. On the homepage I would like to see the excerpt and the Blog image (“Beitragsbild”) under the headline and not the first paragraph of the post. I’m unable to configure it this way.

    2. In the Blog Post, I don’t want to see this “Beitragsbild”, because I always have a good image in the first paragraph. Unable to configure this.

    3. I would like to have the first teaser on the homepage larger then the others to show the “best story”. I’ve tried with the slider model, but it didn’t worked well. In my old theme, I was able to set a checkbox in every blog post to make it the best story on the top.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update.

    The posts’ featured images were not set. You have to set the feature image first. Look for the “Beitragsbild” box.

    Hi seabstian_brinkmann,

    You need to set the featured image for the blog posts for the element on the front page to show the image and the excerpt.

    3. Blog posts element does not have this kind of functionality, but you can add another one of those with just one post show as your featured posts.

    I have been looking for a way to display blog posts similar to what you have on your site – image to the left with title / excerpt to the right and the slider you have at the top.

    How did you set that up?

    Hi Victoria,

    I’m trying to achieve two things:

    1. Get the blog list element to show up like this: https://www.dropbox.com/s/i3m3dejq5pa28tv/Capture.JPG?dl=0

    2. On the front page, I want to do the most recent blog post like this: https://www.dropbox.com/s/4dhi0iqlwne8omk/front%20page.JPG?dl=0

    Any help figuring it out would be greatly appreciated!

    Unfortunately, it would require quite some time and customization of the theme to achieve this, so I am sorry to tell you that this is not covered by our support. However, if it’s really important for you to get this done, you can always hire a freelancer to do the job for you :)
