We have the global site layout and a post template set up for pages. When the Author was one of our Editors (Editor role) the post had horizontal bars under the header that shouldn’t be there. The 3 bars were the same color as the header, had thin white lines separating them. Horizontal running the width of the page, with “About”, “Latests Posts” and the editor’s name in them.
I got the bars to go away by reassigning the post author to one of the administrator accounts. But we don’t always want to have to do this. I didn’t change any other settings, and I was able to recreate the effect by setting the author back to the editor. Why is this happening and how can it be fixed? Screenshot and other details in Private Content.
Hey mikehartrich,
Does it happen with all Editor accounts? Please provide us with temporary Admin and Editor accounts so that we can check it out.
Best regards,
Rikard
Hi Rikard, yes it happens with both the editor accounts. If you view the site with Safari the background color is red (which creates the red bars I was referring to) and if you viewed with Firefox you don’t see the red background bars, but it still has the text there that it shouldn’t. I’ll set you up with an account and give you the other details you will need.
I just managed to fix the issue.
Thank you!
