    Hey everyone!

I’ve been having trouble lately figuring out how to set a background color for a specific layout element and having header styling issues. I’m running the Enfold Child Theme.

Question 1: Layout Element Background Color Issue
Originally, I had all the content in a grid row because it was much easier to edit colors. I realized that my bullet points weren’t showing up in the grid row but would show up in the general layout elements, so I switched. The layout is currently split 3/4 (left), 1/4 (right), and a grid row for the bottom call to action. My question is, is there any way to change the background color of just the 1/4 section? Or do I need to revert back to a grid row? If I do, is there a way for me to have bullet points visible?

    Question 2: Headers Not Updating
I’ve noticed that updating the header styles in Enfold Child > Advanced Styling doesn’t apply to anything on my website. Is there a way to fix or update this?

    Thanks!

    Hey umbrella8!

    Thank you for using Enfold.

1.) On version 3.2., will be released today or tomorrow, you can adjust the background, margins, borders etc of the column layouts.

2.) Which specific headings are you trying to change? Please provide a screenshot or an actual link to the page.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Thanks for the response, Ismael!

    1) Awesome! I can’t wait! I have the Enfold Child theme. How would I go about updating it?

    2) I think I figured this one out. We had a plugin installed that was holding cache files for an extended period of time.

    Thanks again,

    Umbrella

    Hi!

You should only need to update the parent theme, all the child theme does it override the parent with the files you have added to it.

    Cheers!
