    After WP update to 4.9.5 the advanced layout editor is not loading.
    On the homepage only the html editor is visible, the visual editor and Layout editor responding.
    On other pages the Advanced editor is not loading, the wheel keeps spinning.

    I deactivated all plugins, no result.

    I see you are using Enfold v3.7.1, please update to v4.2.6 and ensure your webhost has PHP v7 installed.

    OK, but why the update doesn’t show in Theme options –> Theme update ?
    It says ‘ No Updates available. You are running the latest version! (3.7.1) Check Manually’
    When I check manually ther is also no update in Appearance –> themes

    I downloaded the latest version manually, should I upload by ftp and replace all files in the current theme folder?
    Is this the normal way to do a theme update? (my client does the wordpress updates himself and doesn’t use ftp)

    Hi,
    The Theme Forest API checks the versions and licenses, it seems this is not working on such an old version.
    There are some major changes with the theme folder structure, so please update via FTP, and Please note that you should remove the theme folder “enfold” before adding the new one, so old files are not left behind.
    Going forward your client can use the Envato Market WordPress Plugin as an easy way to keep the theme up to date.
