    Hi,
    at a current project we have created the website with enfold. So far everything worked fine, now the layout editor and the buttons of wordpress are suddenly no longer appear in an already created page. I can edit nothing. In a newly created page displays only the buttons of wordpress are displayed, the layout editor is gone.
    What can I do?

    Hey dsignoWerbung,

    Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.

    Login credentials include:

    • The URL to the login screen.
    • A valid username (with full administration capabilities).
    • As well as a password for that username.
    • permission to deactivate plugins if necessary.

    all done. but the layout editor is still missing …

    Could you try deactivating all plugins to see if one of them is causing a conflict please?

    Come on, what’s next? We are sorry, but the problem needs to be solved in a short term. I can not wait for days, the customer waits for the completion of its website.

    Hi,

    There might be some corrupted files, so please delete all theme files completely via FTP, before installing a fresh copy from your themeforest account. Here is a short tutorial on how to install the theme via FTP, in case you are not sure how that works:

    Install Enfold over FTP

    Keep all plugins deactivated while testing.

    Tested. The complete Theme deleted and uploaded a newly downloaded version of ThemeForest via FTP and activated. The Layout Editor is not there

    really weird and I’ve never seen this issue before. Can you give us your FTP login please? and upload the newest Enfold ZIP somewhere on your server and let us know where we can find it, to be able to reinstall it for you.

    Please try again… Maybe the .htaccess-File blocked, the file is actually renamed. The login credentials I tested, these make no problems

    Hi,

    unfortunately it still doesn’t work. I have tested it with multiple pages and all of them Layout Editor will no longer appear and on new pages only the standard bar of WordPress seems.

    I have tested it on different computers and different browsers, unfortunately without success.

    I tested it after I have deleted all theme files and replaced them with a fresh copy. Now again it’s not working. So what did you change/do so that this issue happens again?

    Nothing at all. Today morning I logged in and had only called the page to test it, nothing else. And only you and I have login credentials, so nobody else can change something.

    please rename your “wein-kreis” folder to the default “enfold” folder name and check if it’s working better for you.

    Hi,

    I have discussed the theme once again re-uploaded with the real folder name and it has not changed. I can’t see the Layout Editor …
    The newest original theme with original folder name is active, look and see

    please download a fresh copy of Enfold (ZIP) again from your themeforest account and upload it to your server and tell us exactly where it is. Provide us FTP login, so we can assist you further.
