    Hi
When I activate a child theme with empty style.css and functions.php the menu layout changes, and the menu is on top of the logo even when I select logo left – menu right. I linked to the website in private content.

I tried to figure it out by searching the forum but no luck. :-)

    Thanks

Just a quick note – when I posted this I got a blank screen to look at. :-)

    Hi!

Thank you for using our theme.

Although Enfold – Child is a child theme, it uses its own theme settings.

You can export your settings of the Enfold parent theme with Enfold->Import/Export->Export theme settings and import these settings in the child theme Enfold-Child->Import/Export->Import theme settings.

    This should fix your problem.

    Best regards,
    Günter

    Hi Günter

I get that, but I don’t need to import any settings from the parent theme. I need the css/menu to behave when using a child theme. I tried to reset all settings, and then select logo left – menu right, but I get this strange thing with the menu on top of the logo?

Is there any settings in the theme which will place the main menu as you see it in the link?

    Thanks

    Hi
Sorry to ask another question in this thread – please tell me if I need to start another? :-)

Is there any way to hook into the theme, and plase content above the footer on every page?

    Thanks

PS: When I post this reply, I will get a blank page. :-)

    Hi!

As you are using UberMenu you may need to import those settings separately, you can do that here – http://screencast.com/t/yOCwqcr19Kv

    Hi Josue

I did have the UberMenu Plugin installed, but I uninstalled it, and I now use the builed-in Mega Menu, so I don’t have a UberMenu settings menu?!

Is Mega Menu using UberMenu behind the scenes?

    Thanks

    Hi!

No, but there are some residual classes applied to the menu, this is the cause of the layout issue, have you already trying re-doing the menu from scratch?

    Cheers!

    Hi
I figured it out (with your help), and it was a file I’ve added to the child theme when I wanted to use UberMenu, and didn’t know about the builed-in Mega Menu (I did this a long time ago, så maybe the mega menu is a new thing?).

Thank you so much for helping me out when I’m stupid! :-)
