    I tried Jordan’s solution to the same problem, but changing out the theme with a fresh version did not work for me. The page views, but when you go to edit, the Layout Builder attempts to load but never stops. Here is what I have tried so far:

    • Debug to true check: done (no errors)
    • Toggle permalinks: done
    • Check Theme general and performance settings: done
    • Check plugins/deactivate individually: done
    • Check PHP ver.: It appears to be the current one (7.3), but am rechecking with the hosting company
    • Toggle theme to Twenty Twenty-One and back: done
    • Download and then replace most current Enfold theme: done

    Hey laptophobo,

    Thanks for the login details. You are getting error messages coming from the file in private, are we allowed to try to deactivate the plugin in question to see if that makes any difference?

    Yes. I had turned off all of the Plugin items earlier and did not see a change. However, please go ahead and try on your end.

    Hi laptophobo,

    I tried to turn off the plugins but the issue still persists.
    I have found a database error in error_logs (private content) please try to fix it first also add this in wp-config.php file:

    define('CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS', false );

    Hi Nikko. That wp-config script didn’t work. And I don’t know how to correct database files. I think what I’ll do is reload the website with the most recent working version and then incrementally update from there.
