    Hi,
    I had a really nice layout for the blog posts, it’s all gone now. No sidebar, categories, arrows to see other posts etc. pp. are shown anymore.
    What can I do to get back the original layout of the posts?

    Hey Loveronika,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

    Did you switch to the Advanced Layout Builder (ALB) when creating the posts? Please note that switching to ALB or the layout editor will have you start with a blank canvas. All default elements, such as the post title, comments, metadata, etc., will be removed.

    Hi Ismael,
    the blogs always looked o.k., I think even with switching to ALB. Anyway, how can I get back all the stuff like post title, comments, metadata etc. pp.? I found ‘sidebar’ and how to add widgets. But I’d rather not use a sidebar and display everything underneath the blog post.

    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

    To switch back to the default post template, you have to disable the Advance Layout Builder and revert back to the default editor. You can try the Widget Area element to add widgets to the posts, but this is only available when the Advance Layout Builder is active.

    There is actually a Comments element in the Advance Layout Builder under the Content Elements tab, but you can also use the widgets. If you need more options, try to look for a comments plugin.

    ah o.k., thank you! was just looking in the widgets area.
    one – hopefully – last question: I have a few posts built with the classic editor which have comments. When I switch to the advanced layout builder and put in the comments element – will the comments still be there or gone?
