    Hello Ismael,

    Please see the previous topic:

    Because that has been closed, I made a new topic;

    The problem is still not resolved;

Every day the files seems to get corrupted or something…

I need to upload a fresh copy of the Enfold main theme to the themes folder to get it working again.
That it works for max 1 day and I need to upload the main theme again and again.

How can this be and how can I resolve this?

I have no caching or something active, so that can’t be the problem.
Also; because it’s a live site I had to upload a fresh theme, so as of now the layersliders works as expected.
But like I said; I know for a fact that tomorrow the same problem will occure.

    Greetings Jeen

    Hey Groeier!,
This sounds like strange behavior, it looks like you have renamed the theme, is this correct? When I try to check some of your theme files I get a server 500 error and your LayerSlider elements are empty. The LayerSlider that is built into the theme could be protected by the LayerSlider team to only work with Enfold, so perhaps when you rename the theme it causes this error.
Try to use the original Enfold files and do not rename it and see if this occurs again, it is does then include a admin login so we can look, but please do not rename the theme.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hello Mike,

This can be the problem. I have a lot of sites with the Enfold theme active and I always rename the main theme folder.
I never noticed this before probably because I don’t use the layerslider on my websites accept by the site I have the error now.

The situation is that I have a multisite enviroment with the main theme and per site a child-folder.
Name of the main theme folder (I renamed it) is nivonmain.
Per site there is a child map, so for example, I have jump-child as a folder.
    Within the folder I have a style.css and a functions.php file

The style.css had this in the header of the file:

    Theme Name: jump
    Description: XXX
    Version: XXX
    Author: Groeier!
    Author URI: http://www.groeier.nl/
    Template: nivonmain

I tried to place a fresh copy of the Enfold main map within the theme map.
Than I tried to change the name of the Template: nivonmain to Template: enfold

I thought that this should work, but It doesn’t. It keeps loading the nivonmain map. Is there anything else I should change to make this work?

    Greetings Jeen

    Hi,
I don’t know what you mean by: Enfold main map within the theme map
This kind of customization is beyond the intended scope of our support and my best recommendation is the use the theme as intended and see if you continue to have issues.
I don’t know how to circumvent the theme & LayerSlider security, and I have not seen the LayerSlider behave like this, so it stands to reason that if the cause is not a plugin or custom script, then it must be another customization. I recall another site with a re-named theme and it would not automatically update, so I imagine you will also be facing this.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hello Mike,

    To refer to the sentence;

I don’t know what you mean by: Enfold main map within the theme map

I mean that within the normal themes map WordPress provides, I need to upload a fresh Enfold theme map.
When I do this, all my child-theme maps points to the renamed theme nivonmain
When I rename the theme within the child-theme-map to enfold, nothing happends.

So I need to no how I get my live websites with child-theme, points out to the fresh enfold theme map.

    Hi,
Sorry I don’t know what you mean, WordPress knows what parent theme your child theme is using by the template line in your style.css file:
    Enfold_Support_4845.jpeg
so ensure this is correct and your parent theme is named correctly:
    Enfold_Support_4847.jpeg
I’m pretty sure that you can not use the bundled LayerSlider files in any other themes, so it makes since that this is checking the theme, I don’t know how to circumvent the theme & LayerSlider security.
Have you noticed any other issues with your site, I assume that you have already tried disabling your plugins and any other customizations. Please note that if you have a customized header.php or footer.php, please don’t use these, it is the most common reason for errors when updating. Please remove these files and any customizations you wish to make should be done in your child theme functions.php

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hello Mike,

To explain to you how I have installed the theme (I did exactly what you asked), I have made a video with explanation.
I have placed this in the private content field.

Within the video I have also shown a print screen of my error log.
    This is the URL: https://ibb.co/Db6Szzb

I hope you can help me with a solution.

    Hi,
Thanks for your patience, your error message points to \enfold\config-templatebuilder\avia-template-builder\php\class-asset-manager.php on line 1280
which is $print .= $stored_assets[ $asset . ‘-‘ . $file_type ][‘file_content’]; if this was a one time error while you were renaming the theme then you can ignore it, if you are still seeing it then try disable the Enfold Theme Options ▸ Performance ▸ JS & CSS file merging and compression and see if that helps. Thanks for the video I don’t see any cause for your issue with the LayerSlider deactivating and I don’t believe that using a theme name in the child theme would cause an issue. I have not seen this kind of issue before. I have asked the rest of the team if they have any ideas, Thanks for your patience.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hi Jeen,

    Thanks for your patience.

It sounds like a security solution on your server/website might be falsely flagging LayerSlider as harmful. If you’re using a security plugin such as WordFence, please try putting it into the learning mode. If you’re not using a security plugin, please contact your hosting provider and let them know about the issue so they can check the logs.

    Regards,
    Yigit
