    Hi there,

I have had the Layerslider working correctly in all browsers for months. Now.. not knowing why.. it suddenly started acting weird in Firefox. I have replaced it with Fullwidth Easy Slider for now.. and created private TEST page with faulty slider (http://www.digital-key.co.uk/test/) so you can have a look at it.

    Please help.

    Thank you,
    hex

    Hey!

I would first suggest updating your theme files to the most recent version which includes and update to the LayerSlider plugin from the authors (from around the end of 2013). If there was an issue with a Firefox update then it would have been addressed in the updated version of LayerSlider.

I have seen a lot of users that needed to update/fix their LayerSlider slides after updating since the authors changed the way some elements are constructed and rendered so after updating you may need to adjust your slider and its new settings.

    Best regards,
    Devin

    Hey!

    Thank you for the info.

Did you copy any files specifically the header.php to your child theme folder? Please get a new copy of the file then replace the old one.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi Ismael,

Yes.. I do have header.php, footer.php and functions.php files copied to my child theme. I will try to replace them.

    Thank you,

    Hi!

Try clearing out W3TC cache completely, clearing any minification and settings and then trying it in FF again.

    Regards,
    Devin

    Hi Davin,

I have cleared page, minify, object, browser cache.. No changes to slider behaviour whatsoever.

    Any other idea?

    Thank you,

    Hi!

    While being on Firefox:

    1. Do the sample sliders work correctly?
    2. Do the faulty slider works when you click the “Preview” button?

    Cheers!

    Hi Josue,

    1. No, they don’t load at all under firefox.
    2. Yes, ‘faulty slider’ does work in Preview under firefox.

I’m thinking of switching to other template. Your customer service sucks.

    Thanks,

    Hi Hex!

Please re-upload slide images. Currently images cannot be found on your server as they seem to be located on local server – http://i.imgur.com/5816vJK.png
Re-uploading images in Media > Library should solve the issue

    Best regards,
    Yigit
