    HI

I was positive that LayerSlider WP could be used to create hyper links to external sites. You could import a .jpg / .png into a layer and use it as a “button” to link to an external site of choice / another page in your WordPress site.

Example a background image that has two floating buttons ( on layers) that have url links assigned to direct users to desired location.
so a slide consists of 3 images.

To add the url link you would select the layer with the graphics, go to Links & Attributes and then insert the URL that you wish that graphics to link to on mouse over.

I was sure I had done this before….. However the function seems to be broke. ( or is it me dreaming that this was a function)

No matter what I can not seem to get a layer to link to an external site! its driving me potty lol
The only work around I have found is to use the HTML option for the layer and create a clickable image. This is a pain as I need to absolutely position the image (button/s) within the design of the banner and TBH i have no idea how to do this! (plus it seems a pain to do it this way)

I am Using the Latest version of Enfold with the latest version of WordPress.

Please advice before my sanity is broken any more…

    Thank you so much!

    Hi Autovogue!

When you set the image for the layer click on the “Link” tab in the layer settings to set a link.

    Cheers!

Well I have no idea whats going on, I Installed WP and Enfold Localy on Mamp and tested and all worked as expected.

I think I am going to reinstall Enfold on the live site and possibly reinstall WordPress as something is broken.
This will probably resolve my issue.

    Thanks Elliott.
