What is going on here? If you’re going to include someone else’s product in your theme distribution, wouldn’t it be a good idea to keep the distributed package current?
Kindly fix this issue, it is screwing things up from an admin standpoint. You just released 4.0.3 – was this supposed to fix it? Why am I asking ? Because your changelog has not been updated.
Please advise asap – I have a couple of irate clients (your fault) and we need answers.
March 22, 2017 at 3:30 pm #764823Hi, I have same issue on my website…
March 22, 2017 at 3:34 pm #764828Same issue here on all my sites using Enfold.
March 23, 2017 at 1:48 pm #765429Hi crtdude,
Can you please give us a link to your website and tell what is the issue exactly?
Best regards,

VictoriaMarch 23, 2017 at 1:56 pm #765436Hi Victoria, Below is what I am talking about. Reported by Wordfence. Also, the WP admin core shows an update is available but no update to ANY plugin is shown. This is all relative to that Layerslider WP garbage that people are complaining about. You might want to make a new updater to 4.0.4 to fix this. This is ridiculous that a company of your caliber allowed this to happen.. Don’t those people running LayersliderWP have any sense?
The Plugin “” needs an upgrade ( -> 6.2.0).
Plugin Name:
Changelog: http://codecanyon.net/item/layerslider-wp-the-wordpress-parallax-slider/1362246/changelog
Current Plugin Version:
New Plugin Version: 6.2.0
Severity: Critical
Status New
Update includes security-related fixes.March 23, 2017 at 3:14 pm #765512Hi Victoria, exemple with my website… ans other customers websites.
I have same message that @crtdude.
Wordfence raises the issue with an alert.
Regards.

aovivoMarch 27, 2017 at 3:58 am #767149Hi,
We’ll notify Kriesi regarding the issue. The latest version of the plugin should be included in the next patch of the theme.

IsmaelMarch 27, 2017 at 11:40 am #767348This is all fine and good but it should have been done when they updated their part – not after the fact. Pretty dumb from a business standpoint when you have such a great track record of performance. Key = stop relying on external providers => though for the future. Or, simply stay on top of what’s going on with them – which apparently did not happen here.
March 27, 2017 at 4:32 pm #767547Hi crtdude,
The new version of Enfold is already available with LS updated.
If you need further assistance please let us know.
Best regards,
VictoriaMarch 27, 2017 at 7:09 pm #767643I have 4.0.3 installed and this seems to still be an issue. Is the update Ismael referred to forthcoming (and when)?
March 27, 2017 at 7:31 pm #767656@ Izevon, see the changelog “2017 March 20th – Version 4.0.3”, the LS update is in the new 4.0.4.
March 27, 2017 at 7:42 pm #767667where is this available? the downloads page only offers 4.0.3 from March 20?
March 27, 2017 at 8:11 pm #767690March 27, 2017 at 8:53 pm #767722Hi,
should be available on Themeforest soon!
Best regards,
AndyMarch 27, 2017 at 10:06 pm #767758Just updated Enfold theme and now getting HTTP 500 error when logging into wp-admin. My error log reports: PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in …/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-layerslider/LayerSlider/layerslider.php on line 111
I’m dead in the water. Please advise.
March 28, 2017 at 4:12 am #767844Hey!
Please make sure that you have version 4.0.4. And that the update goes through completely.
Cheers!
IsmaelMarch 28, 2017 at 5:13 am #767861I updated my Enfold theme due to the Easy Slider error and now I am NOT able to make any edits or changes on any of the pages on my website or access the dashboard. Need a solution fast since I need to make a change on the client’s website before they notice.
March 28, 2017 at 6:35 am #767885Hey!
Please increase the memory limit to at least 128MB and remove any browser, plugin or server cache.

Cheers!
IsmaelMarch 28, 2017 at 12:22 pm #768078I contacted the BlueHost tech support and they were able to resolve the memory problem. The issue is resolved.

March 28, 2017 at 4:09 pm #768253Ismael, I’ve heard 4.0.4 mentioned a few times but still only see v4.0.3 available in the changelog. Where am I supposed to go and grab this update? As you know I have 50+ licenses of Enfold and want to get this mess sorted out.
March 28, 2017 at 9:25 pm #768445Hey!
@Izevon the release is uploaded you should be able to download enfold from your dashboard, please do a test to see that everything is fine when you are downloading.
Kriesi is already working to push a new update.
Thank you very much

BasilisMarch 29, 2017 at 9:28 am #768687Updating to 4.0.4 does not seem to solve the issue at all…
March 29, 2017 at 10:32 am #768724Same here, problem persists.
March 29, 2017 at 10:47 am #768745Same here, the problem has re-surfaced.
Any progress of an update from Kriesi?March 29, 2017 at 11:17 am #768749Confirmed on my end as well. Left admin nav and admin top bar still show an update available while there is no actual update. Tried reinstalling WP 4.7.3 and the same. Enfold update reads current 4.0.4. Would you mind getting it right this time?
March 29, 2017 at 3:35 pm #768865Same – I believe it ‘fixed’ it for a little bit, but it’s back.
March 30, 2017 at 12:45 am #769224Hey!
It’s probably cached. If not, please create a new thread and post the login details so that we can check your installations.
Regards,
IsmaelMarch 30, 2017 at 2:34 am #769256It’s not cached, I have cleared everything. I have this problem on all my client sites using Enfold!
I’ve cleared cache at the server end, disabled server caching both static and dynamic and cleared browser cache to no avail.
I will post a separate thread as requested -
