    Hi,

    This is regarding an apparent bug with LayerSlider and Avia Layout Builder.

    I’m running:
    Wordpress 4.5.3
    Enfold 3.6.1
    LayerSlider 5.6.8
    I’m using a child theme and have no code in functions.php except ‘woo_remove_product_tabs’ method.

    Am having issues adding LayerSlider to pages/posts using Avia Layout Builder. I get a white box in place of the actual layerslider. The workaround for me was to:

    1. remove the layerslider from content area
    2. click on default editor
    3. click back to Avia Layout Builder
    4. drag layerslider to content area again.
    5. update

    Also – Preview is not working in either post or page editor. I am not using any cache plugins.

    Is this a known issue? Any advice/solution would be appreciated.

    Hi,

    It’s normal that you cannot see the slider on page preview because it hasn’t been initialise but it should be working in the frontend. The layer slider has its own preview mode inside its own panel. We added the “distress-top” slider in the post. http://studssoda.com/wp/?p=190

    Hi Ismael,

    Thanks for your reply. Yes, I realise slider won’t appear in preview unless page is saved. The issue was that the slider wouldn’t appear on the page even after it was saved. An empty white box would appear instead. Don’t worry about pursuing the Slider issue as I realise it could take ages to track down.

    The preview problem is a separate issue. The image below demonstrates the problem:
