Hi there,
I have an issue with the slider on the Home page.
The slider layout settings are: Canvas width: 1140; Canvas height: 470; and Max-width: 100%.
Therefore I have created a series of images that are 1140px wide and 470px high.
For each of the slides, the slide background image size is: Inherit.
However, when viewed in the Home page slider, the images are cropped top and bottom.
Please can you advise?
Many thanks, Andrea

I have provided 3 screen grabs in the Private Content box:
– Home-Page-Slider.jpg. This is a screen grab of the Home page slider
– Test-Image.jpg. This is the image that we created at 1140px wide and 470px high
– Slider-Settings.jpg. This is a screen grab of the slider settings: Canvas width: 1140; Canvas height: 470; and Max-width: 100%.You will see even though the image we created is the exact same size as the slider canvas settings, the the slider crops the image top and bottom.
Your advice is much appreciated, Andrea
June 1, 2017 at 5:15 pm #802663Hi Andrea,
The Layer Slider needs to scale your image for a bigger screen, so the image becomes bigger and taller, but it has to show only 470px that you defined, so it kind of zooms in on that big image, making it seem like it’s been cut off. You can play a bit with canvas height and see how different height work for you. No need to change images, just test with different Layer Slider canvas height.
Let us know how that helped.

OK – I understand. It doesn’t really help, but I do now understand what is going on.
Many thanks for clarifying, Andrea
