November 28, 2018 at 3:20 pm #1038549Hi,
Sorry, I have set another page ( http://www.morsche.co/explore ) as homepage until the issue fixes. Please check homepage on http://www.morsche.co/home
Really sorry for that but this will stop the people landing on that slider page for now.Unfortunately, the old homepage is still showing on Chrome and Samsung Browser although I have cleared the cache.

VictoriaDecember 4, 2018 at 7:21 am #1040591Hello Victoria,
Thank you very much for your reply. I have added the credentials below in private. Please know that due to the problem mentioned above, I have currently set another page as homepage but the real home has to be this one http://www.morsche.co/home
This one, when browsed through Chrome, does not play the video and show ‘more videos’ from Youtube.
When browsed through Safari, it does not open at all.Thank you for your kind and diligent support :)
Warm regards from Karachi,
Xandria
December 5, 2018 at 5:17 pm #1041295I am having the same issue with Chrome… I have a youtube video in a Fullwidth Easy Slider… and it works in Firefox… but in Safari and Chrome… it does not automatically play. It only shows a preview image with a play button… and suggested videos. Website link and access provided in private.
December 10, 2018 at 4:01 am #1042875Hi,
Thanks for the update.
I’m not really sure what’s going on in that page but I get a lot of “conflict” or 409 errors. Did you modify the .htaccess file? Please try to deactivate the plugins temporarily.

IsmaelDecember 11, 2018 at 3:02 pm #1043777Hi Ismael,
Thank you for your reply.
No, I did not modify the .htaccess file. I am not a developer hence I have no knowledge of these things. Can you please check what is wrong with the file?

December 14, 2018 at 10:46 am #1045192Hi,
Have you tried using the Full Screen Slider instead of the Layer Slider? Please note that you can’t automatically play a video because of the browsers’ autoplay policy. You can either mute the video, manually add a play button or enable the video controls.
// https://developers.google.com/web/updates/2017/09/autoplay-policy-changes
Chrome’s autoplay policies are simple:
Muted autoplay is always allowed.
Autoplay with sound is allowed if:
User has interacted with the domain (click, tap, etc.).
On desktop, the user’s Media Engagement Index threshold has been crossed, meaning the user has previously play video with sound.
On mobile, the user has [added the site to their home screen].
Top frames can delegate autoplay permission to their iframes to allow autoplay with sound.Best regards,
IsmaelDecember 14, 2018 at 1:51 pm #1045241Hi Ismael,
Full Screen Slider does not give a button option that’s why I used Layer Slider.
Can you please tell me how to mute the video in Layer Slider? I can’t find the option :(

Xandria
December 17, 2018 at 6:29 am #1046178Hi,
The full screen slider does have a button option. Go to the Captions panel and look for the “Apply a link or buttons to the slide?” settings.
Can you please tell me how to mute the video in Layer Slider? I can’t find the option :(
There is a “Volume” settings right below the layer’s Content field.

IsmaelDecember 20, 2018 at 10:17 am #1047617Hi Ismael,
Thank you so much for the support.
The button does not show on mobile devices. I have a fallback image already set. Is there a way to show the button on mobile? And also to centralize it?

Xandria
December 21, 2018 at 6:49 am #1048066Hi,
Looks like you’re using the Full Width Slider. Please replace it with the Full Screen Slider to make enough room or space for the button on mobile view.

IsmaelDecember 22, 2018 at 8:40 am #1048495Hi Ismael,
It’s Full Screen Slider, I just checked :(
This is the test page http://www.morsche.co/home-2
Button is now in the center but still not showing on mobile.
Do you think I need some CSS code for this?Regards,
Xandria

Thank you for your reply. I have cleared cache from all browsers on my Samsung phone but the button is still not showing. I have tried on other people’s phones too but it’s not there :( I am using Firefox, Chrome and IE .
The fallback image that I have set is a ‘shattered glass window’ not the wine glass. I think you checked on desktop. Please help.
I appreciate your support.
Happy New Year!

January 17, 2019 at 8:43 pm #1055145Hi Xandria,
https://cl.ly/3c93172ddabe I do not see the button in the html here and so it cannot be seen on mobile.
https://cl.ly/86bc309fee0a The button is not there on desktop either. Can you add the button back and we can help you adjust it for different screen sizes?Best regards,
VictoriaJanuary 20, 2019 at 5:49 am #1056026Hi Victoria,
Thank you for looking into the matter,
The screenshot that you sent is showing the fallback image, which is for mobile devices. I don’t know why it is showing on your desktop :( I am opening it on desktop Windows (Firefox and Chrome) and it shows me the video of a ‘glass and ink’ with a button. https://www.dropbox.com/s/w3o756ao8o0c071/home2b.bmp?dl=0
The problem is coming on the mobile devices where it is not showing the button.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/whwcl37a8ij8030/IMG-20190115-WA0000.jpg?dl=0I am checking into the settings again and the button is there in the fullscreen slider. https://www.dropbox.com/s/5x0e6tmub8oqxb2/home2.bmp?dl=0
Can you please check too ? http://www.morsche.co/home-2
I have attached the credentials.Thank you so much for your patience and support.

January 20, 2019 at 8:20 pm #1056284Hi Xandria,
Thank you for clarifying. I checked the buttons on my installation. They are not disappearing like on yours.
Try setting the slide to scroll not parallax and see if the issue persists.
Also, Please deactivate all plugins one by one to check which one is causing this issue and let us know if this solves the problem.
Best regards,
VictoriaJanuary 26, 2019 at 11:50 am #1059110Hi Victoria,
First of all, thank you so much for continued support and patience.
Second, I am sorry that I am bothering again. I deactivated all plugins one by one as you suggested and checked the page on different mobile sets but the button still didn’t show. I reactivated the plugins later again. I also set the slide to scroll.
Did you try checking the page on a smartphone? I am still puzzled how your set shows the button but none of the phones here show it :((
Please advise what to do.
Thanks again!
Regards,
Xandria
January 30, 2019 at 8:47 am #1060373Hi,
I’ve checked the code that is responsible for rendering the button and I found no reason for it not to display on mobile view, so I’m a bit lost as to why it’s not working in your installation. This is the code in the config-templatebuilder > aviashortcodes > av-helper-slideshow.php file:
//if we got a CTA button apply the link to the button istead of the slide if(strpos($link_apply, 'button') !== false) { $button_html .= $this->slideshow_cta_button($link1, $link_target1, $button_color, $button_label, $button_count); $tags = array('div','div'); }
Did you add any custom modifications to the theme? Have you tried to work on this while the plugins are disabled?
Please upgrade the theme from version 4.5 to version 4.5.3.
Best regards,
IsmaelFebruary 2, 2019 at 6:13 am #1061868Hi Ismael,
Thank you for looking into this. I don’t understand either why the button is not visible on mobile devices :(
Following are the codes I have so far added in Quick CSS. Can you please tell me if there is any that is conflicting? I have never touched anything in the theme files.
Thank you so much for your help!

}February 5, 2019 at 8:43 am #1063061Hi,
I just found out that it is the default behavior on mobile view. There’s a script that removes every button inside the caption container because the fallback image is a link itself. Look for the “Mobile Fallback Image Link” field and apply the same url or link that you have for the button.
If you want to alter this behavior, edit the config-templatebuilder > aviashortcodes > slideshow > slideshow.js file and look for this code around line 204:
appendTo.find('a').remove();
