    Hi there,

    As we know, Layerslider comes automatically with Enfold, but it is not kept updated along with Enfold theme updates.
    Q: Is this going to present a security issue possibly, as those who (like me) don’t utilise this plugin, will inevitably fall behind with its upkeep…?

    Just a thought, as this came up as a discussion in Wordfence (security plugin) forums.

    I would prefer to NOT have it installed at all, but as an additional option in future Enfold releases.

    Hi Stevo!

    We keep track of it’s development and if there is a need to update it then we will. It is still a paid plugin so the paid version will have more features associated with it. You can easily update it on your own by copying over the plugin folder into /enfold/config-layerslider/LayerSlider/.
