Hi,
I am not able to change the slider style depending on the viewport. LS7 has a setting ob top to change between “Desktop view”,”Tablet view” and “Mobile view”. But if I select “Mobile view” and change e.g. measurements of texts oder elements, they are changed in every size.
Project setting are set to responsive.
Is there anything I am missing? Or is there a tutorial on how to set it up? Couldn’t find anything helpful…
Thank you in advance
Hey cambium.digital,
Thank you for the inquiry.
Layer Slider should automatically calculate the size of the text or layers based on the viewport or screen size. For example, if you set the font size of a text layer to 23px on desktop, LS should automatically resize this text to around 8-11px on mobile view. If you really need to manually control the style of a specific layer on different screen sizes, you can apply a custom ID or class name to it in the Layer Settings > Attributes panel. You can then add your own css modifications in the Quick CSS field or in the child theme’s style.css file.
Best regards,
Ismael
So, changing the vireport settings (in the mentioned dropdown) within the LS editor does not have any effect???
If I want to have an element e.g. 30% width on “desktop view” and 100% width on “mobile view” I will have to change that manually in my css?
I was expecting LS to have that feature per breakpoint, not only show or hide. Thats not very intuitive.
