    Hello, today I noticed the LayerSlider plugin in my Enfold website. Is this a new plugin that is installed by Enfold? Because I think this plugin was not in my Enfold theme before?

    Hey Alwin,

    The LayerSlider is included in the Enfold theme, but havent a individual license, so, if you want to use all the features, youll need to buy a license.

    Hello,

    I think I am not using the LayerSlider at all. Can you please check http://www.online-hrm-tools.nl ? Can you confirm me that I am not using LayerSlider functionality?

    I am asking this because I want to remove the LayerSlider plugin if I am not using it!

    I am getting messages that the LayerSlider plugin must be updated but it is not listed in my plugins page so how can I update this plugin then?

    And how can I remove the plugin?

    Hi,

    If you want to remove the LayerSlider then you can add this to your child theme’s functions.php file:

    add_theme_support('deactivate_layerslider');

    You will have to go through your content yourself to check if you are using it or not. Also please update to the latest version of the theme (4.0.5): http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
