Hello
I have a big slider on my homepage (www.lille-danse.fr)
I’d like to add a slide and change a text and guess what…
Since yesterday I can’t modify anything.
When I click on a layer or on a slider, just nothing happens.
I’ve tried on Internet Explorer, Mozilla, Google Chrome. Still the same.
I do all the updates.I have :
wordpress 3.8.1 with enfoldplugins :
Akismet Version 2.6.0
MailPoet Newsletters Version 2.6.2
MailPoet Newsletters Premium Version 2.6.1
Redirection Version 2.3.4
WooCommerce Version 2.1.6
WordPress SEO Version 1.5.2.6
WP Super CacheNothing works… and this is really anoying. I have a date out of date in my slider and I can’t change it
I have to add a new commercial and I can’t do it…Thank you for your answer
Best Regards
OphélieApril 8, 2014 at 9:54 am #248706Just adding precisions :
1) I’ve crossed fingers and changed the out of date info in the database and it worked
2) I’ve created a new slider and… it works ! It’s only my main slider which can’t be modified. i can’t even copy the options by hand in a new one as I can’t see the options of the corrupted slider (I can’t change the tab that is shown, it only show the first tab)Do you have any idea of what to do ?

April 10, 2014 at 9:02 am #249659Hey!
I’m not sure if this will fix the issue but did you try to export the slider and to re-import it again? On the “LayerSlider” admin page search for the “Import & Export Sliders” field – then select your slider and hit the “export” button. Afterwards use the “import” button to import the settings file again.
Best regards,
PeterApril 10, 2014 at 10:36 am #249710Well
I’ve exported it and reimported it, it’s all the same
I’ve copied the layer from database, created a new one and injected the database data into the new one, and it’s the same
I’ve created a new one, inspected the database sequence and injected by hand each slide onto database and finally found that slider 2 from the layer was the one which produced exceptions. Finally I created a new layer, spent my afternoon making it all by hand, it worked… until I went out from the admin console. Got back 5 minutes later and…. new layer does the same exceptions and I can’t modify it anymore.
April 10, 2014 at 10:38 am #249711If you have any other idea Peter let me know…
If only I could find which option does the exception.
I could be ok not to use the incriminated option… until someone does an update on the plugin !April 13, 2014 at 6:18 am #250627Hi,
Can you create an administrator account and post it here as a private reply?

Seems to be an issue with the load-scripts.php WP file and Enfold, try increasing the PHP memory limit:

We’ve tried multiple memory limits, now up to 512M which is way more than any site should require, the issue still persists with the bundled layerslider. Is there a way to update the Layerslider portion of the theme manually?
April 16, 2014 at 2:26 am #251890Hi!
Thank you for the update.
Can you please deactivate the WP Super Cache plugin? We’ll check it again after that. Also, please download the theme again from your themeforest account then update the config-layerslider folder via FTP.
Best regards,
IsmaelApril 21, 2015 at 3:09 pm #432042Hi,
I also have the same issues with the layer slider. I’ve got the latest version of enfold. My Slider has got 11 slides and I can’t edit it anymore. The other default sliders work properly. My WP memory is 512 MB. What else can I do?Gruß

DennisApril 24, 2015 at 7:23 am #433902Hi!
Could you please try to deactivate all plugins to see if one of them is causing a conflict?
Cheers!
RikardApril 24, 2015 at 8:44 am #433949Hi Rikard,
I found the plugin, which causes a problem. It is the NinjaForms plugin. How can I solve it? I need this plugin!Regards,
DennisApril 24, 2015 at 11:32 pm #434508Hi,
If you say it only happens with LayerSlider 5, i’d suggest rebuilding that slider from scratch, perhaps some content in a layer is triggering the issue.
Regards,
JosueApril 27, 2015 at 11:45 am #435158Hi,
When I deactivate the NinjaForms plugin, the problem doesn’t occur anymore. So why is there a conflict between those two plugins?Regards
DennisApril 27, 2015 at 7:44 pm #435545Hello,
It’s kinda weird, i’m unable to reproduce this on my local install (Ninja forms enabled), may be something related to your specific install, perhaps re-installing WordPress could fix it but i think it would be more conveniente to just disable Ninja plugins while editing LS and then re-enable it when you’re done.
Best regards,
Josue -
