    Hello!
I opened my site today and found that the layer slider on the home page is shifted over to the right by half the width. I updated to 4.0.6 but that didn’t help. I have LayerSlider 6.4.0. Anyone have an idea about how to reset this?

    Thanks!

    Hey JonKaye,

Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look.

    Best regards,

Thank you for checking this out. It appears to happen when the browser window is larger than the width of the center box.

Jonathan are you experiencing something similar to this? https://awawisconsin.com/

Yes, looks similar — when browser is full screen, image is shifted. When browser width about same size as image, it is ok. After I posted my question, I also found this post on your forums (where awawisconsin.com sounds familiar — https://kriesi.at/support/topic/layer-slider-update-10/)

I have not tried the fixes suggested there, I thought maybe that had been resolved already.

I haven’t tried much myself. I was actually hoping for an update from kriesi or something where I don’t have to a ton of extra styling, etc to make it work.

    Hi JonKaye,

The issue is still open. You could try using the fixes suggested in the tread you found.

If you need further assistance please let us know.

Hi Victoria, I tried the CSS fixes and the other layout changes. I could not get it to work. I changed which slides I was using in the slider, same half a screen (on full screen view). I also jiggled the alignment, and a bunch of other things. The last step I did (I can recall) is I set the layout to Fixed Width (which did set a fixed width, negating the responsiveness that someone had pointed out in the other thread), then to Full Width, then to Responsive, each time I made a change I cleared my cache and looked at the site. Somehow, the alignment got restored to responsive correctly. I can’t identify one thing though that really made the difference.
Thank you for taking the time to investigate!
