September 5, 2013 at 5:28 am #139420Hi,
The theme is not compatible with IE7. Please try to install this plugin: http://wordpress.org/plugins/html5shiv/

September 5, 2013 at 2:36 pm #139421The slider does not work for IE8 either. None of the plugins have worked. I am not understanding why the slider works with the sample/demo content but not when I create a slide. I also do not understand why I would need to use a third party plugin to make the slider work. Please help!

September 5, 2013 at 5:18 pm #139422Hi dyoo,
Just tested the site in IE8 and the slider on the home page worked fine on my end.
The only thing you may want to do is use this plugin to enable IE8 to use media queries since your menu is too wide for the default viewport:http://wordpress.org/plugins/respondjs/

September 5, 2013 at 5:57 pm #139423When testing in Browser Mode for IE8, the slider seems to show, but when using IETester, it doesn’t display.
I have installed the Respond js plugin and activated it but I’m not sure if there requires another step (ie: inserting code). Suggestions?
September 6, 2013 at 2:30 am #139424Hey,
Maybe IETester doesn’t really render the slider properly. Devin just tested it on IE8 and it worked. Did you try loading it on an actual IE8 browser?
Regards,
Ismael
September 6, 2013 at 1:22 pm #139425Yes, I have tested it in an actual IE8 browser, as well as in IE8 browser mode with cache cleared on multiple computers. Would someone be able to log into the backend and try to fix the issue themselves. Also, need to fix the issue with the top menu overlapping.
September 7, 2013 at 3:19 pm #139426I don’t understand the issue to fix. As I said before having tested it on IE8 natively I’m not actually getting an issue.
The respond.js will just force IE8 to use media queries which seems to be fixing your menu overlap. The only thing I see at this point is the spacing is a bit different in IE8 but that is to be expected in an almost retired browser.
