Hello,
I am a client.
Since some days ago, LayerSlider is not working for me.
Please check the 5 minutes video explanation that I have added in the Private content of this ticket, with the access details.
Thanks,
Jordi
February 12, 2016 at 11:07 am #582146Hey jordipuente!
Thank you for using Enfold.
Did you just moved the site from another domain? I asked because the ‘WP Clone by WP Academy” is installed. The migrated database might be incomplete or doesn’t include the “_layerslider” table which contains the sliders.
UPDATE: Please try to deactivate all plugins before testing the layer slider again.

IsmaelFebruary 12, 2016 at 11:11 am #582149Hey!
Another reason it’s not working is because a certain layer slider script file is not found:
http://www.walhalladcs.com/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-layerslider/Laye…tatic/%20codemirror/lib/codemirror.js?ver=f6f863a01b5aa57569e214458f686ff7 Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)
Please get a fresh copy of the Enfold theme then override the config-layerslider folder.

IsmaelFebruary 12, 2016 at 11:38 am #582159Thanks,
I am going to do it now. Let’s try : )
February 12, 2016 at 11:46 am #582163Isamel, I have deleted Enfold and then reinstalled it, but it continues not working.
If I give you access to the server, could you please reinstall the file or database registry that is beeing needed?
February 12, 2016 at 11:54 am #582168I give you access to the server (see private content)
February 15, 2016 at 7:26 am #583136Hey!
We will try to look in the database but we have to fix the script error first. We found that the wp_enqueue_script function url value is not correct. Please modify the config-layerslider > LayerSlider > wp > scripts.php file then look for this code around line 107:
wp_enqueue_script('codemirror', LS_ROOT_URL.'/static/ codemirror/lib/codemirror.js', array('jquery'), LS_PLUGIN_VERSION );
.. remove the space before the “/ codemirror/”.
wp_enqueue_script('codemirror', LS_ROOT_URL.'/static/codemirror/lib/codemirror.js', array('jquery'), LS_PLUGIN_VERSION );
Regards,
IsmaelFebruary 15, 2016 at 12:08 pm #583305I have the same issue. I have removed the space. Eager to find out how to repair the (still) broken sliders.

RikardFebruary 24, 2016 at 12:47 am #588069Is there a theme update being pushed out soon to fix this issue? I am having an issue with this on my site as well. My slides are seasonal, so I want to update them this week.
Please advise on next steps to fix the slider or a date to expect the update.
Thanks,
NateFebruary 25, 2016 at 11:53 am #588948Hey!
The latest patch will be included on the next update, unfortunately, there’s no eta yet because Kriesi is working on a few more demos. Did you try this fix? https://kriesi.at/support/topic/layerslider-not-working-5/#post-583136
Best regards,
IsmaelFebruary 25, 2016 at 12:08 pm #588970It is not Enfold/Kreisi style that it take more than a month to get a bug fix for Enfold. Very strange. Your support is normally the best there is. I don’t understand why you don’t release 3.4.8 which is simply 3.4.7 but with the latest not buggy LayerSlider plugin included. It should take 1 hour to do this, not months.
My suggestion to others is to skip broken 3.4.7 and stay with the excellent 3.4.6.
February 25, 2016 at 7:18 pm #589390I tried the quick fix of removing the space before “/ codemirror/” and it did not work. I have a new sale coming up on March 1, so I need to switch the slider soon if possible. Please let me know next steps or if a smaller update can be pushed soon. I see several people are having the same issue.
I have already tried turning off plugins, updating the theme, checking the slider files, etc…
Thanks,

YigitMarch 17, 2016 at 4:25 pm #599665Hi,
My layerslider is not saving changes either. I haven’t changed anything in the website exept updates when they arrive.
I did modify the config-layerslider > LayerSlider > wp > scripts.php file and removed the space but still not saving.
Will there be a fix soon? My client is anxious to change the slider.
Thanks, Ariane

RikardMarch 18, 2016 at 9:35 am #600166Hi Rikard,
A closer look is not necessary I think. It simply is a big bug in Layerslider in Enfold 3.4.7. Numerous people have the same problem and have reported this on this forum. The problem is now 2 months existing, and still there is no new version of Enfold with a fixed Layerslider. Unbelievable! This should have been fixed the same day. The support on Enfold is normally perfect, but now it almost look like a Microsoft product. Is Kreisi stopping with Enfold or something?

e-catMarch 18, 2016 at 10:02 am #600171Hi Rikard,
I agree with e-cat, it’s a bug in Layerslider. In the back-end there is a big warning visible for an update of Layerslider WP, that will probably solve the problem.
Since the Layerslider WP is coming with Enfold it’s not possible to update only the Layerslider, it has to go together with an Enfold update. So I am looking forward for that update.Regards,
ArianeMarch 19, 2016 at 8:54 am #600627Hey!
The new version of the theme will be released on Monday and it contains the codemirror patch. Thank you for your patience.
Cheers!
IsmaelMarch 19, 2016 at 11:29 am #600660The codemirror patch didn’t work for me. After doing the patch, I made a new slider which broke a day later (it is a working slider, but I can’t edit it and can’t preview it. The Layerslider version in the current Enfold is old and buggy. A new Enfold version should contain a newer version of Layerslider. Hope that the new Enfold doesn’t contain the same Layerslider with only the fix that is not complete.
March 21, 2016 at 3:39 am #600953Hi!
The theme contains the layer slider which is only one version older than the latest patch. The latest patch doesn’t contain new features so I don’t think you’re missing a lot. Please create a new thread with your login details plus the link to the site then we’ll check it. Make sure that you have the latest version of the theme, 3.5.
Cheers!
IsmaelMarch 21, 2016 at 3:15 pm #601266Enfold 3.5 has the newest version of Layerslider. Wooh! It seems like the bug is gone and that the problem is solved.
March 22, 2016 at 6:26 am #601692March 22, 2016 at 6:51 pm #602071This latest update fixed the issue. The slider is working now.

Please help. thx.
If you fix it let me know what was the error or setting that you changed.

April 26, 2018 at 1:05 pm #947247Hi,
I added Advanced LayerSlider element to the top of your page and hid it using following custom CSS in Quick CSS field
.home #layer_slider_1 { display: none !important; }
I believe the issue is related to performance changes we made in Enfold 4.3. We have already reported the issue to our devs. Currently LayerSlider shortcodes do not work unless there is Advanced Layerslider element on the page.
Best regards,
