Hello team Kriesi. I always come to you with some problem. :)) now, the problem is this:
I want to make a front page just like in the private content link. I want to create this front page inside the LayerSlider, although when i create a html or a text, to insert a link as a menu, and i go to styles to insert my custom css, in the front end, the custom css dosen’t work. I tried to insert the custom css even in the enfold custom css. Same thing. In the end it’s just a matter of ::a before href hover and if i insert the code into enfold custom css, it’s going to change all my inside a href and this is not what i want. Ergo the optimal way to do it was if i could’ve make a a href html inside layer slider with the custom css. But it’s not working in the front end :( Please help, ’cause it’s driving me crazy and i know google it’s my friend, but all my google search on it was a waste of time. All credentials in Private Content. Thanks in advance.

Thank you for using Enfold.
Did you enable the theme’s Performance > File Compression options? If you did, please disable it first before adding the custom css codes again.

IsmaelAugust 28, 2018 at 2:57 am #1002494Oh my god, it was THAT SIMPLE? :( Thanks a lot for the help. I was going nuts on this issue. Now the css works perfectly into the LayerSlider html. But one more question: by disabling CSS file merging and compression option, now my website will run slower? It’s not an issue if it is, but only for my information.
Thanks again for the helpAugust 28, 2018 at 4:01 am #1002511Hey!
You’re welcome! Yes, it’s going to be a little bit slower but you can always enable the css/js compression once you’re done with the site or the modifications. It was not working before because the site was using the old merged stylesheets.

IsmaelAugust 28, 2018 at 4:18 am #1002516Ok. I understand.
Later edit. So, i have disabled the CSS file merging and compression. I still got the issue where my css dosen’t load in LayerSlider. I thought that was the problem. But it’s not :(
later edit 2: I waited some time, because i thought it requires time before actual appliance of the disabled css option. :( still nothing. If anyone can help me with this one i will be forever in debt :(

August 29, 2018 at 2:52 am #1002937So, no one can help me with the issue of the LayerSlider not working with any custom CSS? :(
August 29, 2018 at 3:11 am #1002942Hi,
Sorry for the late response. Where do you want to apply that pattern? I checked the custom css of the nav layer but the pattern css is not there.
Best regards,
IsmaelAugust 29, 2018 at 3:33 am #1002950I have given you in Private Content all the details
August 29, 2018 at 7:19 am #1003019Hi,
Thanks for the update.
I added a custom class attribute to the nav tag and then moved the css codes in the Quick CSS field. I think it’s working now. Please note that you can only add css properties and their values in the layer’s custom css field.
Best regards,
IsmaelAugust 29, 2018 at 7:27 am #1003021I see. First of all, thanks for the help. And second, i never thought to give a custom class attribute. Now you can close the thread
