    Hi There,

As the title stated, I am trying to transfer a website from one domain to the other. Everything transfers fine but I am having trouble with the LayerSlider. I tried using the Duplicator plugin, WP Clone and also manually copying the database files etc.

This is how the slider looks on my test site:

    http://touchphone.co.nz/stepupgroup/

This how it looks after I transferred it to another domain (just spinning halo is visible):

If I enable the default sliders they work. But I have spent many hours of some of these sliders, is there any way to fix this problem?

    Thank you for your time!

    Hi ofekw,

When you transferred over the data, did you do anything to handle serialized data? I’m not familiar with the plugins mentioned so I don’t know if they do or do not.

Did you try doing the import sliders/export sliders in the main LayerSlider options?

    Regards,

    Devin

Yes, I tried importing the sliders in the main layerslider options. Still no go.

How would you recommend moving the website, to insure the slider will work?

    Hi,

Go to your Enfold database via cpanel > phpmyadmin. Look for the wp_layerslider table. Select all the slides then export it using XML format. Go to the new installation then import the wp_layerslider xml file. Make sure that all assets like images are in the proper folders and with the proper file name.

    Regards,

    Ismael
