I am developing a site and using LayerSlider. Each night, the images disappear and I have to go into the settings and change the option to Use relative URLs and it fixes it. The problem seems to be that the images are being called via HTTPS and not HTTP. If you copy the images that are missing and take out the “S” then they appear.

talk to your SSL host about it and tell them not to block it. Are you using any SSL plugin for WordPress?

AndyMarch 10, 2016 at 7:25 pm #596518Thank you for your response Andy. We are not using any SSL plugins and the site is not HTTPS. We do not have an SSL certificate. Do you know the best way to force LayerSlider to pull the images in via HTTP?
March 15, 2016 at 11:10 pm #598677Hi!
not sure what’s going on, but Layerslider is not forcing HTTPs by default. Try to deactivate all plugins, to check if one is causing this issue. If that does not help there might be some corrupted files, so please delete all theme files completely via FTP, before installing a fresh copy from your themeforest account: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/install-enfold-over-ftp/

RikardSeptember 13, 2016 at 8:39 pm #686012Here you go Rikard. I tried switching the settings to not Use relative URLs. That didn’t work. It only happens once in a while and varies the slider.
September 13, 2016 at 8:42 pm #686013Also, when you go back to the slider that isn’t working and click save it then shows the images.
September 13, 2016 at 8:55 pm #686020Hi!
@SAdesignsUnltd can you please let us know if you are also under https or not?Best regards,
BasilisSeptember 13, 2016 at 9:02 pm #686023Hi Basilis, we aren’t. I just updated the theme to the latest also. I honestly don’t know why it keeps trying to switch on some of them.
September 16, 2016 at 8:25 am #687306Hi!
We tried to access the site but the login credentials aren’t working. Please check. Which specific images are disappearing?

IsmaelSeptember 16, 2016 at 9:55 pm #687744Hi Ismael, yes, I had just deleted the access since I had not heard back from anyone after I created it 3 days ago. I can create it again. As for the sliders it just depends. Here is one that is doing it now.
and these were all woking yesterday when I checked
I Just turned off Use slider markup caching in advanced and saved and now they seem to be working. Not sure if it’s because it reserved the sliders because if you go into the slider that isn’t working and hit save it works again. Hopefully this fixes the issue.

September 20, 2016 at 2:22 pm #689235Hi,
caching is usually causing issues with images. So make sure to switch off any caching, afterwards clear browser cache and hard refresh a few times. Glad if it’s fixed for you! Let us know in a new ticket if you have some more questions about the theme.
Best regards,
Andy -
