Hi,
I updated some images on my home page layerslider (mainly slide 2 as well as final banner (car banner) on slide 3) but even after deleting and re-selecting from media library the images don’t show up on the website. They look fine in the layerslider preview, however.
Thanks!
Ron

August 4, 2014 at 3:50 pm #299709Hey Ron!
I have checked your website and LayerSlider is working fine on my end- http://i.imgur.com/fyG1yGJ.jpg
Have you already solved the issue you were having?Best regards,
YigitAugust 4, 2014 at 4:56 pm #299754Yigit,
Thanks. However, no, it is not working fine.
As mentioned, it is slide 2 (no images) and slide 3 (the one you showed – there is no car banner showing up)
Thanks!
Ron

Sorry about that! Can you please try deactivating all active plugins and check if that helps?
I did not want to deactivate your plugins for testing purposes without asking.Regards,
YigitAugust 7, 2014 at 6:11 pm #301239Yes I did Yigit and I did so again now with no luck.
To explain in greater detail: I updated some of the image locations since some of them were off site. Now they are all on-site (in media gallery) but not displaying except in preview mode. Everything worked in the past with same plugins.
You have my login so please get in there and do whatever it takes. Please also let me know what the fix is so that I don’t have to open another ticket in the future.
Thanks!
Ron
August 7, 2014 at 8:45 pm #301332Hi!
Looking at the site right now I’m not seeing any missing images on your home page slideshow. Is it still happening for you and if so which images specifically, what browser+OS.
Best regards,
DevinAugust 7, 2014 at 9:20 pm #301351Hey Ron!
I have added custom CSS code to bottom of Quick CSS field and all layers are visible now. But there are so many JS errors in console. Please try re-updating the theme via FTP – http://vimeo.com/67209750
You can temporarily remove the code from Quick CSS field and check if updating solves the issue.Regards,
YigitAugust 8, 2014 at 12:02 am #301389Thanks for taking a look!
I updated via FTP but the CSS is still required. If you can dig a bit deeper to figure this out without requiring the CSS I’d appreciate it.
Cheers,
Ron
August 12, 2014 at 5:08 am #302989Hey Ron!
I guess the CSS Yigit added was this:
#second-slide img.ls-l.ls-preloaded { width: auto!important; height: auto!important; }
Right now i commented that out and the slider is still working as expected, so i guess you can safely remove it now.

Please read the ticket. It’s slide 2, not slide 1. The images are now gone again.

Slide 2 images are showing on my end:
Regards,
JosueAugust 13, 2014 at 7:12 pm #303994Perhaps the commenting out code doesn’t work in quick CSS, but with the code gone slide 2 images are not showing.
I cleared the cache and history on 2 computers and even tried it in a browser that I never use to confirm:

August 14, 2014 at 5:18 am #304171Hey!
Thank you for the info.
Have you tried changing the slide transition from 3D to 2D? There’s a 3D transition issue with the layer slider plugin and chrome browser. The latest patch of the plugin should fix it but it’s not included on the theme yet. We already reported the issue to Kriesi. For now, please try to use the 2D transition and see if it helps.
Cheers!
IsmaelAugust 17, 2014 at 8:39 pm #305489This is not the issue. I’m not seeing the images on slide 2 via any browser at all. I even opened up IE for the first time on my laptop and there are no images there.
I will have to repeat the ticket history again: Everything worked fine in Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc. UNTIL I changed the image locations for these images and now they don’t show up, so the problem is unrelated to anything mentioned so far. Please use the information I just gave you to help me out.
Thanks!
Ron
August 18, 2014 at 5:07 pm #305855Hi!
I think I fixed the issue. I just had to insert “auto” in the height and width fields of the image layers: http://www.clipular.com/c/5414739748323328.png?k=Pq14CPSJFftoeZ3PcfQhRw2LTDk
