LayerSlider full height like demo V:11 Transparent Menu

I have searched and could not find the answers. I am trying to create a similar look to v11 and can not get the slide to go full height like the demo. I don’t see the down arrow, either. When I first installed I imported the demo data, but now that I have pages, I don’t want to override them.

I have seen lots of questions about this, but I have not seen an answer that lays it out. There are a number of answers that provide a code snippet, but since 3.0, I wasn’t sure that was still needed.
