    Template: Enfold WP Theme

    PROBLEM: The Layerslider is very choppy and displays strangely on my website. I need it fixed so transitions are smooth like they are supposed to be. Please view this video for more information… http://screencast.com/t/LJNlFhybui

    WHAT I’VE ALREADY TRIED:
    1. I’ve tried disabling all plugins
    2. I’ve tried using a different slider (MasterSlider), yet the same problem was experienced.
    3. I’ve also tried reinstalling the theme on a fresh WordPress install.
    4. I’ve also tried using the code addition to Function.php as mentioned in this post.
    None of these things worked.

    I’m guessing this is some conflict with the Enfold theme and the Layerslider plugin, but really I have no idea.

    Thanks for your time,
    Travis

    Hey nosredep,

    Thank you for using Enfold.

    We checked the layers’ transition and they are blank. We’re not sure why the values are removed. Please try to set them manually:

    ==============
    Transition In
    ==============
    OffsetX	80
    OffsetY	0
    Duration 1000ms
    Delay 0
    Easing
    Fade Enable
    Rotate	0°
    RotateX	0°
    RotateY	0°
    TransformOrigin 50% 50% 0
    SkewX 0°
    SkewY 0°
    ScaleX	1
    ScaleY	1

    ==============
    Transition out
    ==============
    OffsetX	-80
    OffsetY	0
    Duration 400ms
    Show until 0ms
    Easing
    Fade Enabled
    Rotate	0°
    RotateX	0°
    RotateY	0°
    TransformOrigin 50% 50% 0
    SkewX 0°
    SkewY 0°
    ScaleX	1
    ScaleY	1

    Set the Easing property to any options.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi, thanks for the response.

    I don’t think what you’re suggesting will fix the problem because the slider transitions display perfectly in the back end. It’s just on the front end that the slider is malfunctioning. (I provided login info so you can even login to my site to see for yourself.)

    This problem is also occurring with MasterSlider, which I tried installing as a workaround.

    This problem does not happen with any other sliders on my hosting account so I know it’s not that.

    Therefore, that means there must be a conflict between Enfold and Layerslider.
    Any other idea what it might be?

    Thanks,
    Travis

    Hi,

    I couldn’t see any problem on the front end using latest version of Chrome, in what browser are you seeing these problems? There’s not a conflict between the slider and the theme since they are bundled and tested together.

    Thanks,
    Rikard

    Hi,

    Did you remove the user? It’s not working now. I’m sorry but as you can see the transition fields are blank so adding the values should help somehow. Please add the values that we suggested above. Let us know if it doesn’t work. Or post the new login details here so that we can test it.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    I also have the latest version of Chrome. I’m seeing this problem on ALL browsers. Please be mindful of the website address – http://www.amplifyu.ca/newsite is different from http://www.amplifyu.ca

    Okay, it’s working now. I put in the values you mentioned in the previous comment and it worked. Why they weren’t added when the slides were imported I have no idea.

    All is well in the world and the slider is working. Thanks,
    Travis

    Hi. I am having horrible problems with the slider acting erratic. I have 4 graphics that are identical sizes showing up as different sizes. When I try to resize with the % tool, it stretches it. The Preview workspace looks vastly different than the front end. I have been chasing this around all day and it’s driving me nuts. Please help.

    Hi,

    @jsaverhea: What do you mean by “% tool”? There are 7 sliders in there and I’m not sure where to look for the issue. Please open a new thread with the login details plus the screenshot of the issue. We’ll close this one for now.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
