Hey!
I think you are save. it seems the topic creator only got the private mails. I just changed that as well so this should never happen again, thanks for the notice ;)
Best regards,
KriesiMarch 11, 2014 at 11:22 pm #235944Mine’s still broken. Can’t even get to those settings to try them. Looks like someone from Kriesi tried rolling my version of LayerSlider back to 5.0.2, but that has not changed anything.
March 11, 2014 at 11:35 pm #235960Hey Jeff!
Yep stil working on your version. Unfortunately its already 11pm here in austria so I guess I will not be able to fix it today, unless I find the solution within the next few minutes ;P
Regards,
KriesiMarch 11, 2014 at 11:56 pm #235986OK, thanks, no rush. Sleep tight!

March 12, 2014 at 6:52 pm #236466Hi Guys!
Excuse me to jump in. I have followed the conversation cause it seems to be related to the issue I have posted recently:
https://kriesi.at/support/topic/inpage-sliders-do-not-work-and-scrolling-to-the-top-arrow-is-missing/Did you find any solution to this?
Thanks in advance!

March 12, 2014 at 7:19 pm #236480Don’t know if it’s related. Both of those features (Full Width Easy Slider and up arrow) are working on my site after the upgrade. My problem seems isolated to the LayerSlider WP plugin.
March 13, 2014 at 7:03 am #236712I browsed the LayerSlider plugin support comments and didn’t see anything recent about Enfold. I did see a comment about a blank editing environment (which is what I’m seeing as well) being cause by DOMXML extensions not being present on the server, but it looks like those are enabled on my server:
DOM/XML enabled
DOM/XML API Version 20020815
libxml Version 20620
HTML Support enabled
XPath Support enabled
XPointer Support enabledSo I’m still stuck.
March 13, 2014 at 7:06 am #236714OK, this may be an issue. The server is running PHP 4.4.7!
March 13, 2014 at 8:33 am #236744Never mind. The server is running 5.3.x, the info screen is incorrect. Confirmed with the hosting company.
March 13, 2014 at 8:38 am #236749FYI I also checked that the wp_layerslider database table was OK. It is.
March 14, 2014 at 1:04 am #237297Hey jeff!
Sorry for the delay. did some testing but could not figure out what is causing the problem on your installation. I have uploaded the previous version of the layerslider which at least seems to work. Would recommend to stay on this version of the slider for a few releases, since its probably a bug with the layerslider that I can’t fix right now and needs to be addressed by the creator :/
Best regards,
KriesiMarch 14, 2014 at 1:10 am #237298Jeff,
Have you contacted George @ (Email address hidden if logged out) ? He got back to me fairly quickly. Send him a link to this thread so he can weigh in on this.
Best, Jas
March 14, 2014 at 6:10 am #237395Jas, I had not, since their site is pretty clear that support for bundled copies should go through the bundler. But I can try.
Kriesi, thanks for uploading that older version. It does seem to be working and I’m not doing anything fancy. I guess I should hold off on upgrading my other site to 2.6 because I am using a LayerSlider there as well.
Let’s see if Kreatura can figure it out.
Jeff
March 14, 2014 at 6:58 am #237404Hi Jeff,
I would press it. Clearly there is a problem outside of the norm. Hopefully they will make an exception and help us out.
Best of luck, Jas
