    hey,
    the bundled layerslider dont work after update wp.
    we buy the external layerslider – same error.
    kreatura support said enfold is the problem.

    Thank you for the feedback. Please note that plugin updates cannot cause this.
    What’s possible is that your theme made some changes to the bundled plugin version (which was old), but these changes do not fit the new plugin versions anymore. Thus, these issues surfaced. In any case, this is not generated by the plugin itself. You could test this by temporarily switching to a default WP theme to see if that helps.

    First of all, the layerslider.css inline is added to your homepage’s HTML, and it contains several references to blank.gifs that do not even exist. This results in the flashing of the backgrounds.
    We’d recommend that you start by adjusting/fixing this, and then we can move towards the other problems.

    Hey red-baron,

    Why did you go from WordPress version 5.2.5 to 4.7.16? What’s the point of downgrading it? Also, if you are going to run the standalone version of the plugin then you need to disable the bundled version under Enfold->Layout Builder.

    I would recommend that you first of all update WordPress itself to the current version.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update. That is default setting, it means the bundled version is used, could you try setting that to “deactivate but leave plugin files in theme folder” to see if that helps?
