HI,
I have worked out how to create a layer and apply a rudimentary size for the transparent image (say 1800×750) using the html layer and going to styles. However is there a way to ensure this layer will always cover the entire from of images?
For example, my images are 1800×750 (the canvas is 1280×720) but are set to full width of the screen. This works well but for the transparent layer how do I have it stretch to match the image layers regardless of what size screen the site is viewed on?
Cheers
John
Hey John,
Could you post a link to where we can see the results you are getting please?
Best regards,
Rikard
Hi Rikard.
Link in PC below.
I have been playing around with other mesh elements (PNG file) as another layer but I don’t like the result and I cannot get it to contain the full width of the screen anyway.
So I am back to doing html layer…. In the first layerslide I have added a 3rd html layer and set the colour of this layer as: rgba (184, 30, 30, 0.5). Transition is set to keep this layer visible ‘forever’. This is so i can see what the layer is doing. The layout sizing I have set for now to 100$ height and width.
I’d be interested in your thoughts on how to stretch this layer out to cover the full width and height
Many thanks
John
Hi Rikard,
Why does this happen.. lol.. I go back and look at it once more and see the setting for ‘calaculate positions from … ‘sides of slider’.. changed this to ‘sides of screen’.. This works :)
Take a look if you like. have since changed the colour to rgba(97, 97, 97, 0.2)
Looking much better.
Many thanks for your assistance.
Cheers
John
