Hi everybody,
I just finished migrating to a new hosting provider and when I reinstalled my site, I noticed that my built-in LayerSlider seemingly reverted back to a previous version (it no longer has the black UI), which causes problems with some of my slides. I should mention that I properly activated LayerSlider and even purchased a new Enfold license with corresponding license key this afternoon.
Any thoughts as to why this is happening?The issue I’m having with one of my LayerSlides is that its text elements are either not displayed or hidden by the background image even though I increased the stacking order of all text elements to 500. It’s really a bare-knuckle slide with just a background image and a few text layers.
What’s the current version of Enfold anyhow? I’m running 4.8.6, but I think I have seen versions in the 5.0 range on my previous install. What’s going on? Enfold says that I’m running the latest version and there are no updates available as of today. Strange.
As always, I would greatly appreciate any thoughts and pointers.

Did you register your theme license so that you will get updates on the backend? If not, then please try following this: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/

Yes, I did register the license with a brand new Envato private token and “they were able to connect” to this token as well.It even says the last successful check was on 23/12/2022 and that I’m running the latest version of your theme.
Not sure what’s going on here. I’m not exactly new to working with Enfold and it’s the first time I bumped into this issue.
Any other thoughts that come to mind? I really appreciate your time and willingness to help with this. ;-)

December 23, 2022 at 9:34 pm #1377271I also checked on the Evanto API page to make sure I granted all the required token permissions and they all check out. So, I don’t know what could possibly keep me from being able to update my theme.
