Hi. I just purchased this theme and I’m still getting to know all the features.
In my homepage, I want to have the first item be a large image kind of like a background image. But I also want to have text in that image box with a signup button, which would be another image + link. How do I do this using the Avia Layout Builder?
Here’s an example of what I’m trying to achieve: goo.gl/irv6nU

Try using a Color Section, you can set a background image to it and at the same time place more Elements inside of it.

Thanks for your help.
So I used a Color Section and uploaded an image. I have 2 questions now:
1. How do I make the image fit to screen? So there is no whitespace on the sides (margins)
2. How do I insert a textbox into the center of the image? When I add a textbox in the Color Section, it drops below the image. Thanks again.

Are you placing the image as an individual element before the text block? what you need to do is set the image “as the background” of the section.
Cheers!
