I launched my new site with Enfold and was updating the LayerSlider link URL’s when I was unable to save? it says Forbidden server error?
I tried to turn off and on the plugin but it’s not in the plugin section, so I need to call my hosting company and request something?Thanks

I was able to use the Avia Layout Builder, although very slow. I was also able to save in the layerslider. But, I see you are using PHP Version: 5.6.30, and Enfold v4.0.5
You should update both, your host can update PHP, and you can update manually via FTP: https://vimeo.com/67209750

I recommend backing up with: https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/ first & exporting your theme setting & LayerSlider.Best regards,

Now nothing is letting me save, I can’t do anything it has a pop up that says – Saving didnt work! Please reload the page and try again
Can you guys please give me special attention since I am a proud customer of Enfold with 27 Licenses?
I manually uploaded the latest theme and called godaddy and had them increase the PHP like you said and still nothing…. starting to get worried becasue the client is reqeusting changes –

VictoriaSeptember 6, 2017 at 6:11 pm #848791Ya because you guys were no help to me and take 3 -4 days to get back to me, so I had to do a system restore back to August 20th and now am paying $75 to have godaddy WordPress experts look at the issue, thanks for leaving me out to dry.
Not a happy customer who has paid for 27 licenses of Enfold I would think a little above and beyond help would happen but I guess you guys have just gotten too big which now scares me.

Sorry to hear about that. On the other hand, we were not able to spot the issue and it very much sounds like the server settings issue, not enough memory or old php version. There too many variables that theme relies on and that are out of our control. And other 26 sites are working fine, right?

We are running the latest install because I was able to add it when I went back and restored to August 20th. I’m out of ideas..

But I have not found an error on your site to compare against my localhost, other that it being slow which my localhost will naturally run quicker. Is there an exact url that will not work for you (and me) so I can test?

We were able to create a slider and saved it. Did you edit the database directly?
