I have trouble with my Layer Slider. It is not showing 100% fullscreen on large screens. I see it fullscreen only on 13″ and 15″ laptop screens but not on 23″ or 27″ screens. It should stretch the background image to full screen, but it doesn’t. You can check this out here: http://www.oot-oot.com/en/

All my settings appear to be correct:

    1. Slider settings, Slider Width = 100%
    2. Slider settings, Slider Height = 600px
    3. Responsive mode enabled
    4. Fullwidth mode enabled
    5. Slider background image layer is Width = 100%
    6. The image size 2400 x 1100 pixels

I have no idea, why it’s not stretching my image 100%, still showing some white space in the edges when I look at it on wide screens.

    Hey!

The settings you have used is correct however the background image is not set for the slides please see screenshot to set the backgroundimages. If you use layered images it will stretch to fit.

I have added a enfold test page for you please feel free to play around with the settings.

    Best regards,
    Vinay

From your example (http://www.oot-oot.com/en/enfold-test-fullscreen-layer-slider/) only part of the image is visible, it is zoomed in the middle, the image is not 100% full screen. The image used in the slider is this one: http://www.oot-oot.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/oot-oot-diivan-cosmo-slider.jpg. And that’s how it looks when left side touches the edge of the screen and right side touches the edge of the screen. On your example, the image shows just the middle part of the image.

As you can see the original image used and the slider of your example, there is a big difference. And if you set WIDTH=100% then you should see the whole image as it is 100%. On your example, the image width is probably like 300% width, so it still does not solve the issue, because sliders on this sample page (http://www.oot-oot.com/en/enfold-test-fullscreen-layer-slider/) are not displayed 100% width.

    Hey!

Wordpress is cropping images by default when uploading them. You can control this behavior with a plugin like: https://de.wordpress.org/plugins/simple-image-sizes/

    Cheers!

    Hello,

I’m in trouble with the same issue.
I installed the simple image sizes plugin. The question for me is now: how can I control which image size is used in which situation?

    Thanks for adivse

    Hi!

Please follow the below steps to assign your own thumbnail size to the theme.

    1. Create a child theme if you are not using one so the changes we make remain intact after any theme updates.
    https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-child-theme-not-included-in-theme-download/

    2. open functions.php in child theme and copy this whole block http://pastebin.com/raw/YXPDi7B5

    3. Look for “[‘featured’] = array(‘width’=>1500, ‘height’=>430 ); ” and change the image width and height.

I had my things fixed thank you. It just needs proper image size to be added and optimized to 100% width.
