    Hi Enfold Team,

    I am trying to create a layer slider for a landing page and what it looks like in the layerslider doesn’t match what it looks like on the page. I notice that we don’t receive auto updates for the layerslider plugin, is it possible to upgrade it? Maybe these issues are bug related.

    Also it doesn’t seem to be responsive at all even though I have it set to be, on the mobile it is unreadable and cut off.

    Hi Andy,

    Oops sorry I forgot the website link. I’ve got it to look a bit better but it is difficult to work with because the preview is cut off. Also the text seems to be responsive but not the Request Demo button I create with text and styling or the image, on smaller screens the button covers the text and the image is cut off.

    I checked the home page and the slider is fully responsive. Did you fix it?

    Hi Ismael,

    The slider is located on a test page not the home page. It is not live currently but I just shrink my browser to test the mobile look, it is currently not responsive. The homepage is just a colour section because I couldn’t get the slider to work with video when I was first designing the website.

    Hi Mary,

    I think I found the page you are referring to, it’s called TEST PAGE correct? I would try to publish the page but set it to Private access or Password protected if you don’t want the public to access it, the reason being that the WordPress Preview function isn’t always that accurate. The LayerSlider is bundled with the theme so you don’t have to worry about updating it.

    Hi Rikard,

    Thanks for the tip. I published privately and checked it directly on my phone and it is responsive. Now I just need to tweak it so it looks good on both. It’d be great if Enfold had the option of having an alternate layer slider, colour section, or image for mobile. Especially to have the option to load a static image on mobile where you are using a video, would be amazing.

    Yes that is most likely coming in a future update, let’s hope sooner rather than later :-)

    I want to see features like that too but it takes a lot of time to develop, let’s hope Kriesi finds time for it soon :-)
