    This message is at the top of my Enfold websites:
    LayerSlider Security Update Recommended
    Several security issues were fixed in the latest versions of LayerSlider. If you haven’t done it already, please update to LayerSlider 7.2.1.

    Is Enfold including this update automatically? Or, do I need to do something. And if I do, what exactly?

    I have multiple sites running Enfold. The credentials below are for just 1 of them.

    You are currently using Enfold 4.8.6.2. The latest version of LayerSlider 7.3.0 is included in Enfold 5.1.2.

    Please refer to this post – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-update/ and update Enfold to the latest version 5.1.2 :)

    I followed the instructions you sent.

    It thinks I’m running the latest version. I checked manually. It took me to the wordpress updates page. It too thinks everything is updated. We recently had to update PHP and I’m wondering if the latest version, 8.1, is the problem.

    Also … I have several websites running Enfold. My main site, MagnificentU.com is having no issues and is updated properly. I’m wondering if the problem could be the new 8.1 php and wordfence. Because my main website is running a different security plugin???

    Thanks for the update. I tried logging into your site, but it’s asking for a 2FA code. I do see that you are still running an old version though. If the updates are not coming through via the theme backend, then please try to install and configure this plugin: https://envato.com/market-plugin/

    I used the theme plugin you suggested and was able to fix all my sites but one. And it doesn’t have 2Fa. Please take a look at it.

    Wordpress is updating. The Token permissions are correct for Envato Market. But the Enfold theme is stuck on version! (4.8.6.5).

    Thanks for that. The login details seems to be working, but I get redirected to the URL in private afterwards, and there’s no way of accessing the WordPress backend. How can we access the backend of the site?

    The credentials should work now. That user ID was accidentally set to “subscriber.”

    As I tried to explain above, I had already installed the plugin as suggested previously. I have also already updated the Envato token. I’ve done all the things that fixed all the other sites.

    Hi,

    You need to configure the plugin as well. I added your token to it, and the update is showing up in the plugin now. Please try updating from there.
