Hi,
We are facing the following huge problem. Once in a while the Layerslider images are missing(not shown in the browser). When i inspect the page, i notice that the url is using https:// instead of http://
Let me just mention that the websites in question do not use SSL at all.
You can see an example here: https://ibb.co/7SwVbdd
Once i login to the backend of the site, suddenly the images are shown to everyone. Until it happens again.
I am using WP-Rocket for caching purposes in all those sites. But i deactivated it in the website above and also deleted the cache folder under wp-content.
The issue was not fixed. So i am assuming caching is not the issue
I am providing the access details of the website shown above in the private area. You will see it fixed now, because i already logged in today. Another site that has the same problem but not fixed yet is : http://www.ekk.org.cy/
Please advice as this is quite urgent.

Thank you for using Enfold.
It is working properly on our end. (see private field)
Where are you hosting the site? There are free SSL options like Let’s Encrypt, Cloudflare Universal SSL and more. You can ask your hosting provider for assistance.
Best regards,

Check the pages in the private area.
You will see that slider images are not shown (https://ibb.co/R0NmCpx). If you inspect at that area, you will noticed that images re being called using https. Why’s that? There must be another way to fix this, rather than suggesting to install an SSL certificate.
Looking forward to your response.
Thank you

August 2, 2019 at 12:39 pm #1124147Hi,
The URLs on your installation should follow the site URL settings, so I’m not sure why it would use https instead. But the question is, why don’t you want to use SSL? It’s basically standard for the web today, and your security plugin seems to offer a free certificate in the settings.
If you still want to keep basic http then try to disable all plugins to see if something is forcing https.
Best regards,
Rikard -
