    Hello, I attempted an update from Enfold 3.84 to 4.02 . After doing so, I checked the site and all pages were displaying a LayerSlider error (sorry, didn’t copy the error). The entire page content was not being displayed because of this error. I rolled the theme back to an earlier version and the site is fine now. Any idea why this might be happening? All other plugins and WordPress are up to date.

    Hi Tomzilla!

    That was on ver 4. Kriesi has published 2 updates from then, that seem to be fixing the issue.
    Can you check them please?

    Hi Basilis. I’m confused: I *was* updating to the latest version of Enfold from the auto update in Enfold settings. It showed 4.02 as the latest. I updated and it broke the site.

    Hi Tom,

    As far as I know you are the only user who has reported this error, so we would need to have a look at the actual problem to see what might be going wrong. But I’m guessing that is not possible since you have rolled back?

    Strange. I’m wondering if it was the PHP version. I noticed after attempted update that and old version of PHP was running. I had them upgrade to 5.4 (still old but much newer than was running). 5.4 is all that is available on that server.

    Anyway, thanks. I’ll try again at some point. I have backups so it’ll be fine.
