June 17, 2014 at 2:16 pm #279997Hey Tybo576!
Thank you for visiting the support forum!
Please post the website url here. We would like to check it. Make sure that you transfer the website using the WP MigrateDB or WP MigrateDB PRO plugin. Related question, what is the php version of your installation?
Best regards,

June 17, 2014 at 8:17 pm #280197I just upgrade the Enfold theme today and now, even though the LayerSlider still shows perfectly in the “preview” it is trashed on the site. Almost no images come into any slide. This is a disaster! Both LayerSliders are completely dysfunctional.

June 17, 2014 at 11:23 pm #280261June 17, 2014 at 11:33 pm #280265Thanks! That fixed the LayerSlider but now the home page is all screwed up. Everything changed – the background, font and placement.
I did create a user for you before and the password was emailed to you so I don’t know what it was.
June 17, 2014 at 11:38 pm #280268How it was before (please specify)? did you modify the theme files?
Regards,
JosueJune 18, 2014 at 12:24 am #280292Didn’t touch a thing. I was about to build another slider when I noticed the ones I had weren’t working.
“How was it before” How was what before? If you mean the images at the top of the home page, the images were properly aligned and the font fit in the background and the “Learn More” was right at the bottom of the background image.
June 18, 2014 at 7:33 am #280380Hey!
@CheckMark: Please create another user then post it here as a private reply. We would like to check the layer slider. Is it ok if we deactivate all plugins while working on the site?

June 18, 2014 at 5:43 pm #280665Checking a number of things this morning and it looks like whatever changes were made in the new Enfold version are resulting in a lot of issues with the LayerSlider. On that first slider I had the height set at 500px, the exact height of the image and everything was fine. I set the font at 22px and it lined up perfectly on the background images. It still looks like that in the LayerSlider preview. Nothing has changed; however, when you load the page the background images are all too short and the text size has been increased and the position changed as well.
Not knowing what changes were made I went in to adjust some of the settings and it’s even worse. I deleted the width and height in the slider settings and turned the full-width on. This worked fine before but now the slider is simply gone! No idea why. I checked the source code and there is no code for the slider.
June 18, 2014 at 6:33 pm #280680How are you speaking to ??? Chec Mark Please open your own ticket :)
June 18, 2014 at 7:44 pm #280708I have no idea what that means. I am dealing with support about issues relating to migrating to the new Enfold version, which I thought was the topic here. Am I missing something?
June 18, 2014 at 7:51 pm #280710@ChecMark migrating is not the same as updating, i think it would be more convenient (for you to get better assistance) to handle your issue in a different topic, regarding the user account please put it in the private content area, i know you have already provided that in another topic but you have created 15 topics so far and looking through each one to find the access is quite a job.
Best regards,
JosueJune 18, 2014 at 8:25 pm #280722Sorry, Josue. I’m either confused or just plain stupid. When I set you up a user account your username was Josue and your password was sent to you by the site. I don’t believe I ever saw it and I can’t see it now, even as an admin. Just let me know what you want me to do.
June 18, 2014 at 9:52 pm #280789I found the admin account, now please create another topic regarding your issue, i’ll post the login info in a private reply so we all can help you :)
Cheers!
JosueJune 19, 2014 at 10:52 am #281117Ok guys am i still on your job list ???
June 23, 2014 at 3:52 pm #282518Hey!
Yes you are, sorry for the delay. I tried to reproduce the whole scenario on my own server switching it to php 5.4 and the error does not occur, so I am not sure what exactly the problem is. Since your installation is live I didnt want to activate/deactivate any plugins just for testing. Just to make sure: the error disappears if you disable WPML?Have you tried contacting their support staff? They have a copy of the theme so maybe they are able to identify the issue and find out whats wrong
Best regards,
KriesiJune 23, 2014 at 4:33 pm #282543I have no problem with you logging in and trying whatever you like. The issue is that none of this was a problem until the update of the theme, so I am not sure why you are looking elsewhere, but go for it.
I was just about to start creating another slider so if you can let me know when you want to work on it I will logout.
June 23, 2014 at 4:52 pm #282558Even more problems. Login and go to this slider, slide number 6
I have no idea what the heck this is. I’m too frustrated to start any more work until these issues are solved. I am out for a few hours, so do whatever you need to.
June 23, 2014 at 9:19 pm #282684I don’t think this is relevant at all, but I noticed this line in your “update” file –
get_template_directory_uri()
I assume it should read get_template_directory_url()
It look like the update made a number of changes dated June 17th, which is when the problems started I think.
June 23, 2014 at 10:53 pm #282732Now I just previewed the slider for “Consultants” and all the images are screwed up. Whatever changes you made with 3.9 please undo them or allow us to rollback to the preview version.
This is very time-consuming and frustrating. Don’t you check an update before you release it?

June 24, 2014 at 12:41 am #282759Hey Mark!
First of all I was actually referring to Tybo576 ;)
Second I am afraid I dont have the login credentials since they were not posted in this thread. Please either provide them as a private reply or I will ask josue to do so, as it seems he somehow got them. The function “get_template_directory_uri” is correctly named and used. It is a default wordrpress function: http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/get_template_directory_uri
Changing that to “get_template_directory_url” would probably cause a fatal php error since the function does not exist.Third: I am aware that this is frustrating and I am sorry for that but out of 30.000 people using the theme you are only one person with this problem. If it were a common thing it would probably be easier to solve but since we only got one person with one problem it can take longer to identify the issue. I assure you that we do test a lot before releasing an update, otherwise the 30.000 mentioned customers would rip us apart ;)
Best regards,
KriesiJune 24, 2014 at 2:24 pm #283035lol Gave me a chuckle this morning with “rip us apart”. That thought has crossed my mind several times over the last few days. It appears I am the only one suffering these issues, so I feel so “special”. NOT!
Yes, Josue is a user on the site and my WordFence tells me he has logged in several times over the last few days, but I haven’t had any response from him on the issues. If you want to be added please give me an email address to add you.
The basic problem here is that I can’t edit a LayerSlider that looks perfect in preview and always has. What changes could I make if the slider looks perfect and nothing has changed except the Enfold version? I can only assume that the custom CSS I was given, code that was not necessary before, is messing things up. If you look at that slide six I gave you the link for there is suddenly some weird code in the slide. I am not capable of figuring out where this code is coming from because I don’t know what code was changed, nor am I am programmer anyway.
Obviously this is all delaying my urgent launch of my website. Hours and hours have been invested in designing my site for both flat and responsive design, plus the featured sliders. I cannot go back to square one by using a different theme so it’s really critical that we sort out these issues.
I appreciate your help.
June 25, 2014 at 10:11 pm #283791Hey!
I am going to use your other thread here https://kriesi.at/support/topic/issues-after-updating-to-latest-version/ since it is the one with the login credentials for an answer. I am afraid I need some more information :)
Cheers!
