Hi
I’m seeing a lot of posts about Chrome and Layer Slider but I couldn’t see a solution.
My site http://www.solid-steelband.com was tested on Firefox and we only discovered that Chrome wouldn’t play the homepage video background to the Layer Slider after launch.
The slider obviously runs as the logo and link button appear, but the video won’t play and the play button that’s shown doesn’t start it either.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,

Could you please clear the cache, check again and get back to us.

VictoriaMay 20, 2018 at 6:35 am #959319Hi – I have tried that, but the same thing happens.
The layer slider loads, the other layers play out, but the video, which is set as a background video does not run, although it displays a play icon, that does not work either.
This works fine on Firefox and edge but not Chrome.
Any other thoughts?May 21, 2018 at 10:56 am #959640Hi jonesthelight,
Are you on a PC? I’ll ask my colleagues to check.

MikeMay 22, 2018 at 10:45 pm #960553Thanks Mike – I tried that (cleared cache etc.) however the outcome is the same. I made a separate small change to the layer slider to prove that I was seeing a modified version but still the same.
I can only assume it’s chrome being security fussy. A bit annoying really.May 23, 2018 at 2:11 am #960585May 23, 2018 at 2:31 am #960591Hello, I’m getting the same problem here. However I realized that when I’m on Chrome and logged as admin, it works. When I’m logged out, it doesnt work.
Here is my website https://goo.gl/WzMPJmI put my website on https, but it didnt work too. Also, parallax effect doesnt work with background video.
