Hello,
Yesterday we updated enfold to 4.0.1 and were unable to access the admin screen (got the white screen) I read that many were having this problem, so I reverted back to the previous version and waited for a fix.
I updated today to 4.0.2 and I was seeing some strange things happening. Firstly, the layer slider was not transitioning smoothly the way it used to. It was flashing between each image when using the Safari browser. It did not appear to be happening in Firefox or Chrome however my client uses Chrome and he said that the layer slider was no longer displaying in full width which is not happening for me! (We both cleared our cache as well).
I read that some had rebuilt their slider and that seem to solve their problem. I rebuilt the slider but did not have any success solving the issue.
The other issue is that the site intermittently completely went haywire, not reading CSS, displays error messages etc. I have screenshots of this as well. I have had to revert back to the 3.8.5 as we cannot be down for our members. We have a job info line that has to be accessible daily.
Can anyone help? I want to ensure that our theme is always up to date.March 2, 2017 at 8:10 am #754131Hey Karen,
There was some issue with the Amazon servers going down and some files when you try to update the theme may not have been copied properly.
Please download a latest copy of the theme from themeforest and replace the theme folder via FTP in wp-content\themes – http://vimeo.com/67209750
Let us know if issue remains.
Best regards,
VinayMarch 2, 2017 at 8:47 pm #754558Hi Vinay,
I downloaded a new copy of the theme and replaced the theme via FTP this morning. The layer slider is still flashing white between images but only in Safari. Firefox and Chrome appear to be okay. However I have had the same problem with the site going haywire and temporarily not reading css etc. This happened when I went into the back end of the home page to do an edit. It appeared that there was a problem with the layer slider section as a question mark appeared in that box. It seems to be triggering something if that makes sense. If I back out of the backend and refresh the front end it corrects itself and the site displays properly.
Hopefully you can help solve this! I do think it has something to do with the layer slider but it could be more than that, not sure! I have left version 4.0.2 installed for now.
Kind Regards

Sorry for the late response, have checked your site but everything seems good upon checking with the browsers mentioned. Can you let us know if the issues are still showing up on your end? if yes, can you post the screenshots you have mentioned that’s still occuring you can upload it on http://imgur.com/ and post the link here. Also the ftp login you gave doesn’t include an ftp username, please provide it if the issue is still there.
Best regards,
