I have updated the theme and its broken the mobile menu and the transparent menu1: Mobile I can not have it set to “Display sub menu on clicks (which is what i want) or Display submenu on hover (not using it but may want to in the future)
As of now i have to have it set to: “Always display submenu items” Which is not what i want at all.
2: My menu on the desktop:
I have the home page set to “Transparent header” It should look like this:
You will notice the all the top menu items are white including the “phone number and email”
After the update it looks like this:
The phone number and email are black when the menu is transparent: (they should be white)
Please note that when you scroll down i do have the menu set to appear and it looks like this:
(So the text is black when it drops down which is correct)3: Mobile menu also now has the phone number in black but the email is ok, they should all be the same colour on a mobile.
(same colour as the top menu items)I did have a chat with support about a year ago about this and they actually had access and change something to get the colours right.
But i have no idea what they did, But the mobile menu “submenu” not working i have no idea.I am on PHP Version 5.5 when i updated it to 5.6 i just got a blank white page and the site would not load. So i am back on 5.5 now an dat least the site loads.
i have added access so you can dig i as i have tried everything, plugins off etc etc..

Hey mmsdev,
The recommended version of php is 7+, the menu seems to look fine now. If you want to upgrade your php and have a white screen please check the server log and send us the error.

VictoriaSo we have updated to PHP 7 and we now we have the following problems:
1: All pages that have a transparent menu – Now the main menu is white (we have a video in the colour section with a transparent menu setting you can see the white strip, the rest of the menu is correct)
The menu items are meant to be white so thats ok.

Mobile menu:
The only setting that works on the mobile menu is:
“Always display submenu items”
The other menus do not work at a all – you can not see any of the sub menu items:
“Display sub menu items on click”
“Display submenu items on hover”We have activated “the parent menu URL the theme can create a clone of that item in the submenu”

There are no social icons showing on mobiles
So now we have a white strip on main menu and can only use one setting on a mobile with the social icons
This is now on my dev site, as i have had to restore the live site back to a very old version until there is a fix:

Looks like you modified the header.php file in the child theme. Please remove the file then get a fresh copy from the parent theme folder, redo the modification there.

IsmaelI am also having a broken mobile menu. I am on Enfold 4.1.2 and WP 4.8.1. Mobile menu is totally missing completely.

RikardYes we did get the header working another way, but still only works with one setting on a mobil and can not see the secondary menu at all on mobiles.

Thanks for the feedback, we’re working on getting the problems with the menu fixed and we are aware of the problems with the option you want to have. Though displaying sub items all the time works, right? Maybe you could select that option until we have a fix released?
We’re really sorry about the problems, they should hopefully all be resolved in the next release of the theme.
