HI Enfold,
Just updated to the latest theme and the drop down menu ‘boxes’ from the top nav are now suddenly large, really large. Similar to mega menus, but vertical. I’ve checked the menu settings and all is ok there. I can’t get them back to be the smaller size. Can you help?
Thanks

Please refer to my posts here – https://kriesi.at/support/topic/menu-items-issue-after-update-to-version-3-1/#post-412421
Best regards,
YigitApril 22, 2015 at 4:19 am #432526I referred to your post and tried the code, as well as disabling the shrinking header. None of this worked for me! Not only are the drop downs oddly large, but the social icons top bar menu is stacking the icons and adding text so it looks like:
[icon] twitter
[icon] facebook
[icon] linkedinwith the text – and stacked vertically?
Both occurred just after the WP update and the theme update… and I have tried updating the theme via FTP, replacing the header.php file, updating the theme in WP, adding the code from the referenced post – none of it has worked. Can you help?
The URL is http://www.rtxpartners.com but I removed the top bar menu since it looks awful.
ThanksApril 22, 2015 at 5:38 pm #432999Hey!
Can you please try de-activating all active plugins and check if that helps? Have you made any changes on theme files?
Regards,
YigitApril 23, 2015 at 12:51 am #433181I deactivated all plugins and there was no change :/
I did not make any changes to the theme files, and anyways, I manually overwrote all the header files and style sheet just to be sure they were the original theme files. Any other ideas?April 24, 2015 at 5:18 am #433867Hi!
Could you please provide us with a temporary admin login so that we can take a closer look? You can post the details here as a private reply.

I noticed that you installed the visual composer. The advance layout builder will not work properly when you use the visual composer plugin. Please deactivate it. The body container is duplicated, same issue here:
https://kriesi.at/support/topic/when-choosing-boxed-layout-header-and-sidebar-displayed-wrong/#post-400047
https://kriesi.at/support/topic/menu-moves-right-slider-dissapears/The user said that it is a bbPress issue.

IsmaelApril 25, 2015 at 4:31 am #434561This is definitely displaying differently than any of the two issues you linked. I had already disabled all the plugins at the first Moderator’s suggestion, and nothing changed. I have disabled the visual composer. Is there something I need to delete in the PHP file (seems like someone did that in one of the support topics you referenced)?
bbPress is not activated so I don’t understand that reference either.
Any help is appreciatedApril 26, 2015 at 2:33 am #434771This reply has been marked as private.April 27, 2015 at 8:36 am #435089April 27, 2015 at 10:04 pm #435674I haven’t heard back from my last ticket, this is not resovled for me at all. Waiting with a live client site, any help appreciated!!
April 28, 2015 at 11:05 am #435916Hi!
I tried logging into your site but it’s asking for Two-factor Authentication Code, could you provide us with that please?

According to the related topic:
Guys I got it!
I was searching and searching and trying so many things.
But it seems that the problem was a wrong version of the bbPress + some strange code in index.php file.
The bbPress I have now is the latest: 2.5.4So.. try to update the bbPress plugin or delete it completely if you’re not planning to use it.
Please create a new thread. We don’t want to disturb the OP. Thank you.
Cheers!
