Here’s the error:
[14-Jun-2018 21:24:48 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Cannot redeclare av_countdown_events_fallback() (previously declared in /txsvf.org/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/events_countdown/events_countdown.php:16) in /txsvf.org/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/events_countdown.php on line 8I currently have a white screen of death and cannot get WordPress functioning at all, even to revert back to default WP theme. This involves a copy of Enfold purchased & downloaded from ThemeForest today; should be latest version.

Thanks for giving us admin access.
I checked your site and it seems fine on my end.
Is there any particular page that the error/issue appears?Best regards,
NikkoJune 15, 2018 at 5:14 pm #973387Hello,
Since I reverted BACK to Enfold 4.4, the issue is resolved.
Here’s the sequence of past events that prompted my contact with support:—Initially I installed WordPress in brand new hosting. Everything was working just fine.
—I purchased a copy of Enfold at ThemeForest (4.4.1), installed the theme and activated it.
—When the screen refreshed, it was completely blank.
—Looking at the page source code in developer panel, only the opening and closing html tag was present.
—On the error panel:
[14-Jun-2018 21:24:48 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Cannot redeclare av_countdown_events_fallback() (previously declared in /txsvf.org/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/events_countdown/events_countdown.php:16) in /txsvf.org/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/events_countdown.php on line 8I contacted my hosting vendor to do a back end hack and get anything showing again. I then uploaded a copy of Enfold 4.4 that I had in a file on my computer via FTP. When I went back to the WordPress site, things were okay again.
So at this point, I don’t know whether the particular copy of 4.4.1 that I downloaded from ThemeForest was corrupted or what. I will attempt to update to the latest version of Enfold again today, and will only contact you further if that results in a blank screen.
Kind regards,

June 17, 2018 at 6:45 pm #973987Hi Rhonda,
Glad you got it working for you! :)
This file was supposed to be deleted, maybe it was left there by mistake.
If you need further assistance please let us know.
Best regards,
VictoriaAugust 6, 2018 at 11:53 pm #994150Are there other files that were supposed to be deleted? I updated my theme today and received the error above. Based on this thread, I deleted events_countdown.php.
Now I’m getting a similar error for events_upcoming.php.
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare av_upcoming_events_fallback() (previously declared in /nas/content/live/spengleragans/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/events_upcoming/events_upcoming.php:15) in /nas/content/live/spengleragans/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/events_upcoming.php on line 10
Should I delete this file as well, and if so, are there other files that should have been deleted that are still in the latest theme update? Or will there be an updated theme I can download that works?
August 7, 2018 at 7:30 am #994249Hi spengleraganslaw,
That is the only file that you should have to delete to get the update going, you could also try to completely remove the whole theme folder and then upload the new version after that.
Best regards,
RikardAugust 7, 2018 at 3:54 pm #994469I completely removed the parent theme, downloaded the latest version of the theme, installed it, and received the exact same error.
/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/events_countdown/events_countdown.php:16) in /nas/content/live/spengleragans/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/events_countdown.php on line 8
Any other ideas?
August 7, 2018 at 11:21 pm #994616Is there a way to download version 4.3?
August 8, 2018 at 9:24 am #994757Hi spengleraganslaw,
Yes we can send it to you but we can’t post the link publicly on the forum, so please start a new thread. You could post admin login details in private in the new thread as well if you want us to have a closer look at your problem. We will likely need FTP details as well.
Best regards,
Rikard -
