Hi, I have a potential new customer that would like to use Enfold for their ecommerce project, but they have some 10 000+ products and a more flexible layout in shop part of the site. Is it possible to make listing pages in Enfold with more, like 6-7 products in row, with filtering options in sidebars etc?

We will need some advance filtering, user groups, etc. but we can manage all that functionality with plugins. We just want to know if we can use Enfold as base theme, and make it behave nicely as a huge online store.

Or is there any WooCommerce theme that you could recommend that plays nice with Enfold?

    Thanks in advance,
    Damir

    Hey compito,

Thank you for your interest in the theme.

Enfold is compatible with Woocommerce and can be used as a base theme for e-commerce sites, but it would definitely require some modifications. Third party shop extensions have to be installed for additional features such as advanced filtering, payment gateways and custom layouts. You can also adjust the default layouts by adding css modifications and by editing the shop template files. Performance will vary based on the server specifications and additional site optimization.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Helo again,
Thanks for the answer. We are moving on with it, I have a question about available widgets. We want to show a list of discounted products on front page. Is there a way to do it? We tried using product slider and product grid widgets from editor, but we can’t seem to be able to filter products based on available discount. We could make them al featured, but it’s not really a nice solution.
    Or did we missed something?

    Thanks!

    Hey,

Please try using Products List widget and choose to display “on-sale” products – https://imgur.com/a/yaFkkEb :)

    Hi,
    Thanks for fast answer…
Product list doesn’t really help us, it looks weird when we show it on front page. We don’t want to have them in a sidebar. We want to have a nice full with section on front page where we would display a row of products that are on sale. I’ve seen that we can filter products in that widget, that’s why I thought we could filter on that in your editor elements too.
As I said, we can always make products on sale as favorites too, but it should be easy enough for you to ad that filter too.

    Thanks anyway,
    Damir

    Hey Damir,

I will forward your request to our devs however I am afraid that is not possible out of the box at the moment.

You could, however, use WooCommerce shortcodes ( https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-shortcodes/ ) to display your on-sale items. Following shortcode would display 4 on-sale products on your page.
    [sale_products limit="4"]

    Regards.
