Hello Enfold-Team!
I added a language switch to the secondary menu so it can be accessed easily on mobile (think using the burger menu is no good place).
For desktop I´m using the default language switch in the main menu – secondary menu is hidden then.
Now on mobile you have to be very fast because opening the dropdown menu of the language switch links to the same page (same language).
I think opening the dropdown by touching the flag should not link to the same page so the user has enough time to select an other language. How can I get this done?
Best regards,
Jan
Hey deeluuxe,
Unfortunately it would require quite some time and customization of the theme to achieve this, so I am sorry to tell you that this is not covered by our support. However if its really important for you to get this done, you can always hire a freelancer to do the job for you :)
Best regards,
Basilis
Hi Basilis,
could you please give me a hint what causes the problem?
Why does a language switch work in the main menu but not in the secondary menu?
Best regards,
Jan
Hi Jan,
It is supposed to open a submenu and it is a link, so it follows the link and that’s it. Does not allow you to choose a different language. I suggest implementing flags or language name abbreviations and show them all on mobile.

Victoria
