Hi,
I made fi_FI.po and fi_FI.mo files out of enfold.pot and downloaded them into wp-content/themes/enfold/lang folder, but the translations aren’t showing up. The language in WP has been set to Finnish. How can I fix this?

December 29, 2017 at 12:06 am #892317Hi,
Your WordPress backend language needs to match the lang you want to use, for the translation to work out

January 2, 2018 at 7:26 pm #892571Hi!
Firstly i referred to this post – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/child-theme-translations/ and moved your language files to your child theme and then changed file names from “fi_FI” to “fi” and that worked. For testing, i translated “Scroll to top” button ( using Google translate, so please fix if it is incorrect :) using Loco Translate plugin. Please review your website.
Best regards,

Ok, now it’s working.
Another thing, is it possible to hide the part of this page referring to the articles? There aren’t any, so those parts are blank. https://www.saagahelsinki.fi/?s=boo
Is it possible to remove the “Enfold Theme by Kriesi” at the bottom of the page?
January 2, 2018 at 11:33 pm #892638yes the lang files of wordpress itself is fi (WP Locale is the focus for ) too : https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/?locale=fi
January 3, 2018 at 4:54 pm #892880Hi,
Please save this – https://pastebin.com/VfNhgCJ3 as loop-search.php file and place it inside your child theme inside /includes/ folder :)

If I do that, it doesn’t show the list of the search results in the search page anymore?
January 4, 2018 at 6:28 pm #893310Hi,
Also how can deactivate the LayerSlider WP plugin? I don’t see it on the plugins page listing.
