Hi folks. I thought my website good to go until I looked at it on an ipad. For the main images on the front page I have two of each – one is for desktop and the other is for small, very small and medium. On my 8 inch Lenovo tablet it all displays correctly, whether I view it in landscape or portrait, but when I viewed it on a 9 inch ipad in landscape it always shows an extreme closeup. Could someone take a look at this for me?
Cheers
NP

Could you please post a link to your website as well?

I’ll post my website address in the private content, but I’ll also update you on my progress with this issue. I did some research and it appears that other Enfold users experienced the same problem. The solution seemed to be making sure all images that are in sliders are set to scroll, which is a shame because the fixed image option gives a nice effect. It only happened on an iPad, which makes me think it’s maybe something to do with either their Retina display combined with their aspect ratio, or perhaps the Safari browser, but then I am just guessing. If you have access to an ipad (I had to borrow one and have since returned it) could you check if any of the images on the home page are still doing the superzoom close-up thing?
One other question I have on this image subject is whether I can get mobile phones to display the same images as shown on a desktop when the phone is in landscape mode. I’ve had to design images specifically for landscape phone use because I couldn’t get phones to accept the same image. I thought a hi-res phone with a 1920×1080 pixel screen would be able to show the same pictures as appear on desktop – the way my Lenovo tablet does when in lanscape. Am I missing something?
Thanks for any help
NeilMarch 5, 2019 at 11:42 pm #1075159Hi,
Thank you very much for all of those details. The feedback is good. Allow us some time to go through the web site and see if there is a way to fix that with some CSS.
