Keep footer at bottom of the page

Hello – new to enfold and in the middle of creating my website on my localhost – the theme is excellent however one thing im trying to achieve is to keep my footer at the bottom of the page – if we visit a page with less content the footer socket and widgets move up leaving a big gap – would you be kind enough to show me what code i need to add to keep the footer down at all times regardless of page content ?
